DOWNLOAD FILAMENT Created by: RunTime83 and Makisupa 007 Filament is a medium/large map located on the waterfront beach in the gulch on Forgeworld. It is an asymmetric map containing two large bases, one on the beach and the other along the wooded rock cliffs of the gulch. The spaces are separated by a covered cylindrical ramp that offers a protected approach to the enemy base. Red base is a recently discoverd forerunner power plant. There are three entrances in front and two more with access on either side to the lower, submerged level of the base. Both levels surround the courtyard centering on the large forerunner sphere. There is a lift located in the back of the base that can be used to move between levels in either direction. Blue base and the surrounding structures were set up by a human energy corporation interested in studying and ultimately harnessing the seemingly perpetual energy source located within the sphere. The base itself sprawls down from the rock ledges through wooded walkways towards the beach. It's centerpiece is a large silo used to store energy while it awaits transport. The base's upper level can be accessed from three paths. A rock bridge located allong the cliff, a grass hill in the underneath the center of the base, or through a winding walkway that leads from the beach along the rock wall. Who's that hot piece of meat rackin' up the kills in your pictures? Oh yeah, me. In all seriousness, this is an amazing map. The aesthetics are phenominal, gameplay was great, and most importantly, it was fun. Although I did feel the sniper was pretty dominant. Overall, an amazing map.
Looks very cool, I sure as hell am downloading. For a second I really thought that first picture was real haha, "How the f* did he do that?? Oh." Haha. But it says it only supports Territories, is this true? (Well I guess I'll find out, this is more of a heads up if it's not.)
the sphere looks amazing, and has earned you an instant DL from me. i gotta say the rest of the map looks kinda sparse, but perhaps its for the better. im not that familiar with you guys, but i know youve been around for a long time so i figure you know what youre doing in that department as well. i have to let you know though, one of the rules that seems to be overlooked a lot: you are not allowed to have a modified image for the thumbnail for your thread. the reason for this is that its like false advertising, a flashy, photoshopped image to draw readers into the thread and download based on photoshop skills instead of map quality. not accusing you of that, just stating the reason for the rule
Tis' you. Thanks again for helping with the testing and screenshot collection. I like your avatar picture. My dog looks exactly like that(Welsh Corgi). His name is Rigby, and I ride dream bikes with him daily. Thanks for the heads up. It appears someone has corrected it for me before I had a chance to. I wasn't aware of the rule, but I can see why it's in place. Hope you enjoy the gamepley. The spacing is purposefully open to make navigating between the bases a bit difficult. It helps gameplay during objectives, especially bomb and flag.
Wow, this looks pretty fantastic. You're definitely talented, I'll give you that. I'll have to ask RunTime to invite me next time you guys are testing this. That Sphere looks awesome, but it seems clustered with pieces. Any framerate issues?
