    Hello everyone, first time forger (for competitive stuff) and I can *somewhat proudly* present to you my first competitive map.
    Basics of Lattice:
    Symmetrical
    *Game type Support*
    FFA Slayer
    Team Slayer
    Oddball (FFA/Team)
    KOTH/Crazy King
    CTF
    Assault
    (note that for Assault and CTF no neutral gametype is supported yet but One Flag/Bomb is)

    x2 Needler
    x2 Concussion Rifle
    x1 Sniper Rifle
    x1 Shotgun

    So this is Lattice, a symmetrical map i hope gets improved upon and a model for other maps, because frankly the amount of good symmetrical maps like The Pit from Halo 3 are a tad lacking, so I'm trying to bring out a good new one out on the market.

    This map is in its basic 1.0 version, i'm looking for as much CONSTRUCTIVE feedback as possible for improvements. Considering the additions of Headhunter and Stockpile, I added the basic amount of playlists that are in Matchmaking for variety.

    This is Lattice in a single picture, a relatively small CQC map that is symmetrical on all sides. The bases are simple, with multiple way through the middle, left, or right. The map consists of 3 levels, the top being a small pinnacle mostly used for objectives and an alternate route. 4 Man cannons (specifically the 3 on the bottom left of the picture) lead up to the 3rd floor, 2 to the 2nd floor, and multiple walkways to the middle walkway.

    This is the top floor of the map, which contains a Hill and Oddball Respawn Point. Decent cover is provided here to give you the ability to rain down metal upon other unsuspecting players, but not without drawbacks. There is no easy way down, and not a weapon except a Sniper Rifle that can provide 1 person with a precision weapon.

    I don't know why this image is small, but i'll explain it on the blue base pic because it worked and their both the exact same.

    So here is the standard base. You spawn inside the bottom area which you cannot see, but respawn points are varied around and within. The Flag and Bomb zones are located at the top at the base of the Sniper Tower shown. the walkway you see to the left is one of the 4 man cannons that land on the top floor, with a concussion rifle and a healthpack there too. Overall the bases both contain an Assault Rifle, Magnum, Needle Rifle, 2 DMR's, Concussion Rifle, and a few grenades. A Mounted Machinegun is located on the corners of the map to provide some heavy firepower when needed or to fight back some enemies that are pushing forward.

    Here we have the back of the middle area overview, which has the 1 Sniper Rifle aforementioned, and the 4th and final mancannon takes you to that floor.

    I like it Do you have a video by an chance? ya know to see the game play. It looks as though you spent some time on it so it looks pretty good.

    I would but at this current moment i don't have any testers/friends on at the moment. I did yesterday, but it was just 1 friend to make sure that the CTF and bomb variants worked properly. If anyone would like to contribute some testing time I'd be very glad to film it and post. I'm at home all day just send me your GT and I'll invite you all when I have 8 submissions.

    You have two broken image links in your post. Might want to fix that.

    Looking at your first image, it seems as though that backwall has a ledge behind it that you can hide on. Not sure if that's actually there or not.

    Downloading as soon as my dashboard updates, and I will come back to edit my post to let you know my thoughts after a forgethru.

    Kill zones are in place to keep that from happening. And if you talking about under the 2 bridges with the mancannon, i have walls placed there.
    In addition, could you point out which image links are broken? I see all 5 of the images correctly, cept the red base pic is small.

    Hey i really like your map and i agree there does need to be more maps like the pit but not any remakes. Im new to forgehub and im still having issues but id love to help test any map you have or anyone elses for that matter.

    Thanks for the positive feedback quiet. I'm glad to see people are getting good first impressions. But i'd really like anyone else that is viewing my map to give a commet or two in order for me to get a better understanding. I'd really like it if people who download post some feedback of weapons, placements, overall design, and how it plays out for the game modes and which ones work the best so i can work around that. Thanks in advance.
