Is it just me or does this map feel a little bit smaller? Other than that you have done a pretty damn good job on the map. A person that likes Headlong can easily recognize it. I also suggest you take out the ghost, because the Renevant is pretty god damn powerful, or you should have the ghost spawn later. Good job man, really nice map you have there.
Finally! Headlong has made its return! Looks really good and hope it plays well. How long did it take you to make it? holy crap!
It's personal preference I suppose, but the Halo 3 Multiplayer Vidoc convinced me to use Mancannons over Teleporters. @3:32 YouTube - Halo 3 Vidoc "Is Quisnam Protero Damno!" Basically more Danger! True, the Revenant is a Beast. I'll play with the Spawn Timers. 3 days including one all-nighter
I should have an updated version of this map ready sometime tomorrow. Instead of filling the outside of the map with Kill Areas I'm going to try to fill the inside with Safe Areas. This should work out much better (in theory) for the Banshee as there will be no Instant Death Barriers. If theres one thing missing from Reach's Forge that I would love to have it's Invisible Walls, instead of having to kill players who go out the map it would just stop them. Shame that's not in there
New Version is available now here: Bungie.net : Halo Reach : File Details -Added a building to the Focus Rifle Area (like it should have always had) -Cover added on the Rockets walkway around Red Tower -The Height Kill Boundary has been removed, replaced with a Safe Zone You can now fly the Banshee twice as high and you will NOT hit an Instant Kill Boundary. You will only get the Return to Battlefield Timer. Same goes for heading out to sea. If however you try to leave the walled sides of the map you will be killed instantly. The map is much better IMO. Sooo High!

It's a very similar size. Slightly different in places but nothing major. As a barrier? I heard it disappears outside of Forge so I didn't try it. I could be wrong though!
I didn't know this! I doubt it's big enough for Headlong but I may be able to use it as my window in Colossus and get some budget back for FX Thanks!
No problem. Also, since there are differing opinions of things like teleporter vs mancannon and stuff, I'd just recommend having 2 versions and putting them in the same file set if you have the space. Also, it maximizes downloads. not a big deal, although it might raise your DL count.
Yeah I was thinking of doing this. There are already 3 versions of my Headlong All have the same name cos I'm stupid! Old versions are still getting more downloads. Suppose I should put v2 on it.
Wow. This looks amazing. I loved this back on H2. Can you do something for the "bridge" so it's not a floating pole?
In your video at 0:49, at that exact spot: shoudn't there be a grav. lift going up? Or didn't you have enough money to make it? PS: Shiiiiiiiit, this remake is accurate!
I can't really see an easy way to do this without building the whole crane, which is impossible unless I delete a lot of stuff. I hit the maximum objects limit There is a tunnel in the rock with a Grav Lift that fires you up to the platform. In the newest version that platform is now a building, like it should be. I made a few little tweaks since I did that video.
The size difference is only really noticeable when in vehicles. I got in a warthog and though someone had shrunk the map! I think your map could work with just a ghost and a single warthog. The map itself is really good though.
