Well, I've finally decided on a map name (thanks to wiggums for the suggestion) and I believe the map is almost done. I really like the way it plays now, it's been beaten to death with testing and has made half a dozen major changes to it since the beginning. My forge partner hasn't been there for me a whole lot, the majority of testing and forging on the newer versions have all been done by me and so AFlyingCorndog will just get credit in the map post for helping earlier. Anywho, this is what the final version will consist of: Phase 1: Destroy the shield generator Phase 2: Capture the grav lift Phase 3: Destroy the ship with the use of a bomb As I said before, I really like the way it plays now, I've taken every suggestion I've received into consideration to help improve this map. All that really needs to be improved upon now is balancing. Anyways, here are some pictures. Below is the old thread. Spoiler This is an invasion map by myself and AFlyingCorndog. I had an idea for capturing a grav lift, but I suck at forge so I never made. Extremely happy to see someone else did. Perhaps you could call the gametype truth and the map reconciliation?
i would be glad to test and check out the map. i was going to encorperate a covie AA gun into one of my maps but i couldnt decide how to build it. you could call it reclamation, doubt or integrity
Well, after testing yesterday I found out that I'm still having lots of trouble especially with spawns and weapons that spawn later into the game. I think it could definitely work, but there's still plenty of stuff to fix. Is anyone here comfortable with the invasion gametype and could help me out?
I've already made a working Invasion map (I think; never tested with enough people :S) so I might have a remedy to some of your problems. I would definitely love to see this map work out. You have got to be freaking kidding me... Oh well, I'll just go delete the map I was making that was half done, and was basically the same thing as this. Yours will probably be better, pushing mine out of existance, and basically causing me to waste any time I would've spent forging on it. Great minds think alike? Edit: Were you thinking about having the humans capture the ship transport lift thingy, and then having two or three interlocked vehicle lifts spawn on it once they finish capturing?
If you need help with the labels and spawn sequence stuff, I understand all that. As for names, dreadnought might be good.

Hot damn, I like how this looks. I'd love to be able to test it out and give some feedback some time. My Gamertag is Skorpius47, and I've been a hardcore map maker for years. I've got plenty of good friends who are also map makers who can offer their feedback as well if you need bodies to fill up a BTB invasion testing night.
This map looks beast, that ship is beast and I am assuming the gameplay is beast. Please invite me next weekend if you ever get around to testing (I know you will, your such a 'party' boy that your lobbies are always full).
i started to deisgn a map with the same sort of ideas, a bit more like the "deliever Hope" trailer, hmm a re-think is in order! good map once again!

Man I need this map! It look's so good. I'm also a little sad about the missing AA. Do the Spartans still start on top of the cliff?
