    Inner Relic
    Created By Philly100000

    Recommended Players: 2-8 (1v1 - 4v4)
Recommended Gametypes: Slayer, Team Slayer, Capture the Flag

    Summary
This map is a Re-make from the Halo 3 Version of Inner Relic, the main
changes are the bases and the way the halls are set up, in the Halo 3
Version, the bases were much larger, and there wasn't as much cover.
The Hallways in the Halo 3 Version, were much more compact, and had
a 90 degree bend on it, this one is about 3-4 times as long, and it doesn't
have any sort of bend in it, besides it being tilted by 5 degree just so it
can align with the circle. But it's still a perfectly straight hallway.

    Screenshots
First things first, we have the Top Center in which contains a Concussion
Rifle right in the center, on each side of the circle there is an entrance
    which leads to each base.

There is also a platform below the Top Center area in which you can fall
down below onto the edges, or you may also use the two doors placed
on each side of the circle to get back to the bases and back up top.
There is also a Plasma Grenade on the corner of each hall leading up to
the bases, they may be a little hard to see, but if you get close to the
corner you can easily grab it. There is no Weapon or Powerup in the Center,
although there is two DMR's on each side of the circle.

Next we have both bases, they're rather small, but it's still enough room
to battle 1-2 players in, each base has a DMR in the diagonal corner next
to the glass (cannot see in pictures). Going down the pathway on the
right side of each picture will take you to the Bottom Center.

Next theres the paths leading out of the bases from the top area, and
leading back into the Top Center area all the way at the end of the hall.
These halls contains nothing more than a health pack, and a nice view
outside the windows if you wish to take the risk of looking.

Looks like a good map, just seems like its to open in the middle circular area. And those overlapping pieces/textures on the bottom area caught my eye right away lol. The red light is a nice touch, makes the red base look really ominous.

It's not all that "open", if your fighting someone in the top center for example, you can be smart enough to drop down to the lower level and more than likely the top center platform will be in the way of the other player to even shoot you. Although the bottom is a little different, if you've got sprint on, its possible to easily just run to one of the halls leading into the base without being killed.

Which overlapping pieces/textures are you talking about? Like the red lighting bouncing off of the top center platform?

Really like the looks of the map, especially the corridor with the glass window down one side, thought that was really cool. Not sure how the map would play though, there isn't that much opportunity to flank, you can only ever go backwards or forwards for much of the map. The bases are also very enclosed. I think cover would help in the central area, not just for surviving fights but to make the fights more interesting i.e. for dropping in and out of cover

The Z-fighting issue is just at the bottom of the ramps going from red/blue base towards bottom centre
