Here's wat you gotta do. Go to The Fort (it's really called The Fort) and find Benny. If you are sided or neutral with the Legion and not wearing NCR armor you'll be fine. So go around the place and go into a circus tent where you will find the man himself, Caesar, and Benny. Talk to Caesar. I'll let you figure it out from there. Also, you can side with Benny.

There a big difference between a mod and a patch. Oh and the crashes can't really be fixed by reinstalling, the game just can't take to much at once or get a bug at a certain point :/. There are alot of reasons actually, but those are the main ones id say.

I have seen it from a few Fallout 3 Mods, those which i can't name since I didn't download them. While we're on the topic of Mods, which ones are recommended?
just started my HC run the last quarter of the game was really choppy, legion attacked me for no reason, NCR started disliking me for no reason etc I only have 3 points in perception, it's p. useless having it high imo. I took that glasses trait, most hats give +1 AND ED-E has advanced sensors
I cannot figure out where the Brotherhood of Steel is in this game. Can anyone give me a hint without spoiling any part of the story. Just a location of a bunker would be nice.
I think I have just found an extreme bug with companions. I have two people and I want someone else to join so I told one of my companions to leave and when I tried to recruit this new guy it still says I have two people in my party. Has this happened to anyone else and is there a way to fix it? If it matters, I have Boone and Rex. I completed G.I. Blues so Rex isn't part of a quest anymore. Is it important that I send away a human for a human and an animal for an animal?
Strange, it must be that unless it's a big bug. I had one with a companion too. I had went inside the Gold Rush building in Freeside, with Cass waiting outside as I slaughtered everyone. Then, I came back out and she's gone. I return to where I first saw her and the message finally pops up 'Cass has returned to Mojave Outpost' like she had been with me until I finally returned there.
It's like in fallout 3, the main followers can only be swapped for another main follower. Think of rex and ed-e (or whatever it's called) as dogmeat, they can be followers on top of any main follower. Its called hidden valley. You can get there by following the road that is connected to the road that goes to the nrc correctional facility. To be clear its not the one that goes to the nrc place, its the one connected to that BTW, does anyone know a good weapon for super mutants?
Not a god idea. You sub out 1 "Permanent" perception level for 2 "Aid" perception levels. The difference is that you lose accuracy benefits, compass benefits and skill benefits associated with that rank. It also lowers your perk availability, because Perception +6 with four eyes means that you only have 4 Perception without the +2 bonus, which means there are loads of perks you can't get without intense training.
anti-materiel rifle is usually good against anything. i think i was using a trail carbine when i did the whole black mtn thing.
