Shrine is a small map I'm going to make, but I got RROD'd, so I sketchUp'd it. But no my Xbox is ok, so I'll be making it soon. This will be what the loadout cam will look like. (or at least pretty close to what it'll be. There will be some more little things like man cannons and things, but those aren't in the object set so yeah. This map should mainly be used for Custom Games with a couple friends, considering the size, so don't get a huge 50 person group to get together and play this map. Now, this is my first legit map, so no hate please. But constructive criticism would be nice. By the way, the download links don't work. Because it's in sketchup.
Um ok this map looks pretty kewl except for the fact that the main paths are (or at least they look like they are) way too narrow. What I would do is thicken them up a bit so that the players have a bit more to walk on and more choices, contrary to having two small narrow paths. Or just connect the middle structure/thing to the ring around it (after it is slightly lowered) to make a bowl of some sort. That would really help create a better flow. Idk that's just what I think after quickly looking at the picture.
Looks cool. What game type will this map be for? I think(if you have the money and objects) you should build a second story or add more to what you have. It looks like there's not too many places to be. Just an opinion. Will this be above water or land? I think above water would be cool. Where at on forge world?
SO MUCH TO ANSWER. Gametype: For now, Slayer with some friends on Custom Games or something. Second Floor: I'll try that. Above water or land: Above water. Also keep in mind this is on;ly the SketchUp. The Reach version (in progress) has more stuff, like sniper nests, and a bit of a second floor, but it's just like 1 platform,.
