    Description:
    Bleu Horizon is my latest creation and by far my best… Using the interlocking and geo glitch techniques it looks and plays really smooth and I’m quite proud of it… Designed for all MLG game types Bleu Horizon is a symmetrical map with an original layout that consists of two bases, one in either corner of the map, and a ring around the map consisting of bridges and towers… In the corners opposite of the bases are two other platforms, one single level platform where the sniper spawns and one two level platform with a blue lift from the lower to upper level where the sword spawns… In the middle of the map is another large platform that connects with the sniper and sword platforms…

    4 Covanant Carbines
    1 Energy Sword
    1 Sniper Rifle
    6 Plasma Grenades
    6 Frag Grenades

    This is only the second map I've posted please download, comment, and rate...

    P.S. I know MLG doesn't use the sword in Halo 3... The Mauler didn't work quite how I wanted so I made a necessary adjustment to the sword, In testing having a sniper on one side and a mauler on the other meant everybody would just rush for the sniper... The Sword may not be true to MLG but it works well for the map and it goes a long way towards balancing gameplay...

    it looks great, although i would turn the bridges upside down, it's not essential but it looks better, the layout and structure of the bases look very professional although the crates look a tad bulky IMO, and i think i might be able to escape the map on platform one because you left a small ledge on the top of the wall.
    and this is the first time i've seen an energy sword in MLG, i'm not saying it's a bad thing, it might actually play very well, but it goes against tradition.

    This truly is a great map, however I dont think the geo merging was necessary.

    Looks real good. I like that you went against the grain and stuck the bases in the corners. Makes this map stand out. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't think MLG uses the Sword. I don't know a whole lot about it, but perhaps change it to a Mauler? Either way, still very impressive. You've got my DL.

    wow, beautiful.
    looks fantastic.
    And i think these guys are right bout the energy sword, MLG doesnt use any power weapons, well cept the RL.
    haha
    i would put a mauler or two there instead

    On the contrary, I think its very necessary. no bumps when walking into boxes. Seeing as how its pretty easy to merge a flat box, it should almost be a "requirement" much like interlocking.

    note the quotation marks.. there are exceptions.

    Sniper, anyone?

    and i don't know what to change the sword to because the RL just doesn't work IMO.

    Change it to a needler.

    NEEDLER. MLG DOESNT HAVE TO KNOW.

    Yeah, this looks great, but the sword looks out of place. It doesn't look like there is a counter weapon, either.

    I couldn't get out of the map anywhere and thats somthing I'm really particular about... I can usually find a way out of about 70% af the maps I download... I know MLG doesn't use the sword but in testing it worked much better for the map than the mauler and I'm not a huge fan of the rocket launcher so I went with the next best thing...

    well, if you say you can't get out, you say the sword works, and i know it looks great imma gonna take your word and download it, but if i get out...

    Yeah, I didn't like the mauler for this map because its so wide open that it made it way less effective than I wanted...

    Don't listen to those other guys, this map is so perfect and in line. You do not have to upturn bridges if you interlock it a little, (usually a bump) And the sword is fine in a map of this granduer. However, You should stay true to the real mlg weapons

    ok, i have taken a forgethrough of this map and here is what i found:

    the construction is impeccable, everything is lined up and serves a purpose.
    there are a few weapons which i would move such as, next to each set of stairs up to the central area, there is 2 BR's, i would move one from the red base side to underneath the sword room and one from the blue base side to beneath the bridge connecting the centre to the sniper area because you spawn with BR's in MLG it is better to spread them out rather than compact them to certain areas.
    there is no way out, you are right i am sorry for guessing that it was possible.
    i would place extra spawns because 26 spawn points for 8 players will almost definetly be too few, but i haven't played a game yet so i may be wrong.
    the final thing is if you make a V2 i would make the effort to merge the bridges along the back of foundry (with the two big doors) to the wall, or at least make them closer because it is easy to fall off. that is what i think could improve the map, i could be wrong but thats just my opinion.

    oh yeah, and don't double post.

    I cant reallyd any fault in what how you've set this out.
    But I'm almost certain that MLG Dont use the sword.
    Also the crates look a bit tacky, but everything else looks great
    keep it up

    Me and Ivory took a good forgethrough of this map, and I must say it is brilliant! The construction is flawless except for the bridges along the back wall, like Ivory has stated move them closer or merge if possible.
