Well i was thinking about invasion maps and well im working on a halo ce remake called Death Island. Well it got me going what about a Halo CE Invasion mappack, using parts of the maps Silent Cartographer, Assault on the Control Room and the Flood. The one part of AOTCR is the area after the tunnels where the really tall mesa is in the middle of the canyon and you fight 2 hunters with a scorpion tank =) well the Island on forge world is really close to that geometry it just needs to be heightened a little bit. My real concern is should i go with Invasion Slayer or Invasion: steal the core ???
i would go with organites idea. do not use invasion slayer that would be a waste of energy and time. the core capture would be to long and defeat the purpose of it
So just a bunch of attack and capture points? That would work i didn't think of that perhaps because i have yet to make an invasion map.
yup, you can do any of those 3 different objectives in any order and as many times as you like. Only thing though is that the third capture point (end of segment) would seem a little anti-climactic. If you could rig a 'cinematic simulating' switch upon capturing the 3rd checkpoint that would be utterly epic.
