Hai guys I've got some questions regarding minecraft, these may have been asked already but you really can't expect me to read the whole 93 page thread. 1. If you host a game can you choose who joins you? I want to try and get some of my friends into MC and play with them whilst talking to them via Windows Live Messenger. EDIT: Ignore this one --^ 2. If you host a game can you save a map? 3. I can't remember.... EDIT: This was meant to be, if you die is it game over? Which I found out when I accidently fell down my mineshaft.
I suggest you check out hey0's server mod, go ahead and google it. Troubleshoot it and get it working, you won't have any regrets. This way you can ban on top of the already existing whitelist feature. The map constantly saves whilst running, but if you'd like, you can move a map from singleplayer into multiplayer with ease.
PAH, I need iron! I've got apsolutely tonnes of rock, loads of the red stuff and coal but like 7 peices of iron. Cmon I really want to make a massive minecart run! @Stog, thanks I'll be sure to check it out. Do both people need the mod or what?

That house is epic, could I suggest using the Wat? structure as a spirally downwardy watery feature(y)? On a completely different note, who plays this on peaceful? I wish there was a setting for it to be daytime all the time but have monsters inside caves and stuff, even when I have it on peaceful I still get creaped out at night and hide inside my crapshack but I'd enjoy the thrill of dungeon diving.
