Terrible combination of 2D and 3D, it just is not appealing to the eye... i think they made it too sharp and probably shouldve kept the rounded edges that made it look so sleek, instead of this chunky weird theme. But there really isnt much of a change to it.
I agree, I just don't like how blocky it seems. Would have done better with some slightly rounded edges rather than just 90 degree changes. Oh well, it seems to function exactly the same as before though, so i don't care too much.
The entire theme makes a ton more sense when used in combination with Kinect, I greatly prefer the new theme over the old one.
Agreed, I think this one will feel much more natural with Kinect, and the loading times look slightly faster too. The only thing I don't like is the sharp edges - you could compare it to a Windows computer. Long ago, the windows were square and dull, but now they have curves and are more colorful to make them feel more modern. In this respect, Microsoft seems to be going backwards with the Xbox.
Hmm I don't really know what to say about this. I guess ill get used to it but I dont think they had to update it.

I have a bunch of themes, many of which ive made myself, and they better work on this... I dont see why they had to dumb down the dashboard. It looks alot more flat and...not right. It just doesnt look right at all...
Well Im still on the NXE, although Im connecting to live as we speak, so maybe ill get it now. But I hope not...
