yeah, especially when you get something like a tribeam laser rifle or multiplas and cant repair it ever, so you'd be better of selling it\ i wish you could repair stuff with scrap iron and stuff like
i love making a chem addict character. just get addicted to chems and then make the sole purpose of the game getting chems to feed your addiction, and doing whatever necessary to get your chems. quite fun. i was playing my chem character today and i was in the one fiend vault hideout (vault 3 i think) and theres this one room with a ton of jet and psycho, and i walked in there and was just like OH MY ****ING JACKPOT!!!11!!1!!!1.
Just being one can mod a game or add stuff that isn't suppose to be there on a PC, doesn't make it more enjoyable.
Choose a side; Bad or Good? Then base your choices off this. Help raiders, help the gangs, and head to the far south-east to a large Legion camp.
If you haven't figured out yet there are many factions. There are weak ones and strong ones. Here's what I have put together (total IMO): NCR - All of their troopers where armor with DT (armor basically) up to 15. There are rarer troopers with armor similar to the Brother hood of Steel which has 20+ DT. I would suggest making allys. (The NCR and BoS hate eachother. You can make them ally though.) Brotherhood of Steel - They can give you some very powerful weapons and armor. They all wear T-51b armor which has a very high DT and you would need a lot of armor piercing bullets which are sold in little quantities and can't be crafted. I would suggest being allys. Caesar's Legion - There are some guys with armor and the rest can go down in one or two shots with a decent gun. They don't control much of the Wasteland but do have a big fort where their leader, Caesar, hides out surrounded by guys with high DT armor and ballistic fists (exploding Fisto!s basically). You can go either way. Powder Gangers - I didn't have much encounters with them but they control some small bases and one big base with some stuff. If you went through the entire tutorial mission you can find one of them and either side with them or go against them. They're just a bunch of prisoners who started a gang. Not that organized or strong. There are guys with armor but you can easily take them out with conventional bullets. Khans - Tied with the Legion and I've only found one base and have passed by another. They were very easy to take out but if you go with them you get the Legion as well. They also have a drug lab in Red Rock Canyon. There are many more and all of them basically hate eachother. You can go on the Fallout wiki or just but the guide. If you've ever played Fallout before or at least watched someone you can guess what is needed to be done. You can find weapons or armor laying around and pick it up and sell it. There are also 7 snowglobes hidden throughout the wasteland that Maria in the Lucky 38 Penthouse floor will pay 2000 caps for each. 7x2000=14000
i want to try to get to the brotha hood of steel, and make a treaty and **** and get some power armor cause they're bros. how do, can i just do it right from the beginning of the game
Go to the Hidden Valley and in one of the bunkers they're there. DO NOT be dressed like the NCR or they will kill you. Agree to everything they say and eventually the elder will have you running around doing all their copying and faxing and ****. Then after that the elder will be like man I love you and a few in-game days later you can talk to him again and become part of the bros of steel. He asks you to go to Black Mountain and enable some thingy on a radio tower. You meet a super mutant who wants you to go kill some tranny super mutant. Here are your options: 1) Storm up the mountain killing all super mutants and nightkin and make it to the top and kill that tranny freak for the key to the rest of her palace. You will complete that super mutant quest and will be able to finish the bro quest. 2) Get on up there and go into the storage shack. You will find a robot which needs some fixn (50 repair required). Repair that thing and walk outside and you see a very strange occurrence. You will complete the super mutant quest and can then kill the tranny and get the key to where you need to go but you also need to fight some lame robot. You can then complete the bro quest. 3) Cheat for quest completion or just cheat for the Power Armor perk. I did option 2 but then didn't know I had to kill the tranny so I have to explore the wasteland for that blue ***** and her robot and put an end to their homosexual affairs.
i did all the brotherhood quests but the elder was just like "yo we like you and all, so you can chill in here and drink nattys with us if you want, but you still an outsider so so you cant have all of our cool armor and gauss rifles n ****." so i got pissed and killed everyone in there. it was chill. but now i cant haz no power armor.
There's a quest that you can do for the enclave (yes, they are here) and you can get their freaky west side armor and power armor training. The quest is called For Aud Lang Syne, or something like that. I haven't done it but I'm pretty sure they would shoot me on sight seeing that I'm in the BoS.
****ing benny got away little ***** now i have to track him down again, then brutally murder him right.
if you're talking about the victor in goodsprings, he just moved. he has multiple physical robot bodies.
I HOPE to rent this tomorrow. From what ive seen from walkthroughs, the game is huge, and there is more to do than Fallout 3. Apart from that, the ADS, the weapon modding and a few other changes, it looks alot like Fallout 3, which isnt a bad thing. Either way, I hope to find out tomorrow.
I would say that the ability to mod a game on the PC makes it much more enjoyable, when concerning games such as Oblivion and Fallout 3 there were plenty of mods that added a lot of new content for free. All of the new features in New Vegas were mods in Fallout 3 long before New Vegas came out, there's so much you can do with mods that can make a game much more enjoyable. Anyways, I just got New Vegas and am loving it. Hardcore mode makes the game much more enjoyable for me, forcing me to think out how I should approach a situation instead of just running in guns blazing. Came across the group of Legion soldiers in Nipton and took them all out with just a bladed gauntlet. Took me a while but it was extremely satisfying.
No, here's the deal. I went to that town where you negotiate with the Kahns that were with Benny. After I negotiated with them, I saw Victor again and he said to look him up in Vegas. I ended up walking straight to Camp Golf after that, and he ended up walking in the same direction as me. So, when I was walking along Lake Vegas, 3 Lakelurks killed him. I hope he's still alive when I enter Vegas. Also, I think it is absolutely amazing that I've played for over 25 hours, haven't set foot in the strip, and could see myself not going into the strip for another 10 hours, easily.
