I ****ing love this game. Sat down to play for a little bit and just realized I've been playing for four hours straight O.O

Also, this is literally probably the funniest game I have ever played.

I'm trying to find a good place to store my stuff, I've unlocked the room in novac, but so far my favorite place is the shack near the deathclaw cave somewhere inj the mountains. (having trouble recalling the name) It has a reload and work bench, 12+ containers (I am so making a liquor cabinet) and plenty of shelves to put stuff out for display. Anybody else a place to settle? Know of anywhere better to settle?

I prefer Fallout on the PC. I have one save game where i actually do everything fair and true, and then another save game where i cheat with god mode and everything and spawn any weapon i want

I've been trying to decide whether or not to get this game, I quite liked fallout 3 but the big thing I didnt like about it was the large expanse of wasteland with sparsly spread out buildings, kinda got repetitive after a while. Is it the same in New Vegas or are there alot more buildings and places of interest?

If space is is a prime concern of yours, use the Lucky 38 Casino Level. The prize room (Or whatever) has 8 gun cabinets, 4 safes, and a lot more storage. Great if you want to organize your guns

Actually, in new vegas, there are hardly any large buildings at all. The only place with large buildings is the strip. In fact, it seems that the Mojave wasteland is smaller than than the capital wasteland. In short, no.

Load times get much longer once you get to Freeside and you travel from one corner of the wasteland to the other, ugh.

Gun Runners is SE of Freeside East Entrance. They sell full CND weapons that can be very expensive. They sell a lot of types of ammo and they always start out every day with 8000 caps in their inventory so you can sell a lot of things to them.

Also here's a website with a lot of cheats for PC users:
If you need item codes or quest help go here:

I personally prefer Fallout 3 so far, because the introduction was superb (compared to New Vegas). I mean, the Vault environment is the *perfect* setting to learn the game mechanics, and serves as a small scale example of how the rest of the game will function.

The G.O.A.T was funny, contextually appropriate, and engrossing. The medical exam was bland. You also got more than just the G.O.A.T. in the Vault. The basics of the Pip-Boy and Vats, the S.P.E.C.I.A.L. baby book, the three typical dialogue choices (Reasonable, Funny, Violent) even choosing what your character looked like just fit so well.

I'm still going to play New Vegas 'till my head explodes though.

Ever notice how Fallout 3 has a blue-green hue to it, and New Vegas has an orange-y hue to it?

You do realize that the game must load everything from Point A to Point B in order for you to fast-traval. Along with if there's not enough memory on the Xbox that could also make the loading times suffer.

There's always alot of stuff to load.

    oh, and:

I'm aware of the reasons why and accept it, but it's still annoying since I have like 180 free GB and the game is installed on the HDD.

And Tuber, I'm talking around maybe 60 second load times. Although, I am very horrible at guessing time.

i think the brotherhood has better weapons than the gun runners. plus i got some glitch where whenever i buy this one gun from the brotherhood chick (12.7 mm smg, boss weapon btw) itll automatically be at top condition when i buy it. then i can sell it back for a higher price, rinse and repeat to steal all her caps. then buy the most expensive weapon she has and essentially get any weapon i want from her for free. so far ive gotton a top condition brush gun (my favorite weapon in the game), top condition 12.7 mm smg, top condition riot shotty, top condition marksman rifle (m4 carbine with somewhat of an ACOG scope), top cond anti materiel rifle, top condition LMG, top cond thermal lance, and top cond Mark 2 combat armor. plus im up to about 30,000 caps.

so i just restarted because it was all like FALLOUTNV HAS STOPPED WORKING TROLOLOL BTW I DELETED YOUR SAVES

so what are some things i should not do while exploran, which i will eminantley do, i want to do a load of exploring and not just follow the main story

like, what legions should i not attack so it doesnt **** me over later, i really like the bro hood of steel, seem like real bros, NCR seems like the schtazi so i dont wanna **** with them; anything else i should know?

also, what should i make my special skills, and stuff like that, tagged skills

i wanted to focus on barter, since i can buy stuff cheap, sell stuff for alot...
also, if you have higher barter can you buy more from them, or does that depend on your guns skill?

right now i was gonna do
    SPECIAL
    7657861

and then tag glockpick, repair and guns, i want to get the perk where you can repair guns that are similar together, but its like 90 repair
imma read through all the perks so i can know what to aim for
