What are the settings..... what do players spawn with... weapons, loadouts, abilities shield strenght? Also u and ur buddy Rolf are SPAM posting with the comments. Ur gonna get infracted, so watch out. MRX
Players spawn with a Plasma Rifle and the "Barrel Roll" ability. There are no loadouts, Just the one weapon/Ability you spawn with. Everyone is a one shot, So no shields. Thanks for you're concern on me "Spam posting" I will take it into consideration.
lol just walked around this map with my jaw dropped, i'm loving it! Hopefully this will be the new Lava Pit for me and my friends, good times

I actually played this map the other day. It was pretty fun. However, I don't really see the point in having weapons on the map. Why would you use a spartan laser over a focus rifle or a needler over a focus rifle. When you die in one shot the focus rifle is the best thing to use.
The main reason there are weapons around the map is because usually people need something other than the plasma rifle. The Focus Rifle is very over powering in this game mode. Its so accurate and the fact you have infinite ammo, also as there is only one on the map, it seemed so unfair but, thanks for you're advice and concern for the map.
This map was really fun. I just played it with a few of my friends. PLEASE take out the scoped weapons. They make no sense with this. The close courter weapons were fun, but the high powered scoped weapons, like the needle rifle were overpowered. Great forging. I felt like I was playing a trippy Laser Tag game. I would like to see you make another arena with even more corridors and rooms. Very cool.
lol i made one of these a couple weeks ago. It wasn't as shiny as yours though. What filters did you use to make it dark but still clear?
Stop your bickering, and if you guys continue with the verbal attack on Stopex you will both be infracted. Stopex if you are not truly the original creator then you should give credit where it is needed. If you just altered their map and posted it without their permission then that's be considered map theft. Though I can take no action until I have actual proof by getting a link to both maps so I can compare the two to see if action should be took But as of now I have no proof of map theft so figure this out in a calming manner or else something will be done about it.
adelyss it was not map theft it was more of gametype theft because he was showed the gametype by fame28 and myself and was trying to steal an idea and take all the credit for it. that is all.
Gametype ideas can not be stolen. Though if he actualy stole your EXACT gametype (As in it says you were the original creator and he is the editor) then there is a problem, but if he created his own gametype with a similar idea it is not stealing because that'd be like saying every manifest like gametype was stolen from manifest. I would suggest the original creator to give credit where due though.
I can insure that the said, (Gametype) was NOT stolen. I Just RECENTLY saw the alleged, "Original Lazer Tag map" (Oct 29th 2010) Was the exact date I saw there map and game mode. They still seem to think I tried stealing there Idea, The game mode I created was made 9/25/10. If you already know, Once you create a game mode/Map. it will show in "File Options" Created By: (Who'm ever created it) Created On: (Date) Modified By: (Who'm ever changes ANYTHING) Modified On: (Date) The created by section can NOT be altered. -Stopex
So the map is similar to paintball but with a gun you have to charge and a map with glowing lights? It sounds pretty fun. I'll have to try it later and review after. I like how all the objects are "glowish" It looks pretty close to the real thing. Goood job
(Thanks for the good feedback) The play style is actually just like paint ball. same structure, just a cooler looking map, you start off with plasma rifles, there are a few different weapons on the map its self, (Plasma repeaters) Yeah and I tried my best to make it look as similar to Laser Tag as possible. I can't wait for you're review on the map.
I downloaded this map (and gametype) this morning, played it a couple hours ago... ...lost because I was staring at everything xD But on a serious note, nicely done. This has got to be, by far, my favorite Reach custom map.
