hahah Conan O'Brien is my hero "and you didnt even notice i got new sweat pants". I'm pumped for him to take over the tonight show.
This game has stolen my life. I'm desperately struggling to get away from it to eat and (at the very least) do my daily internet browsing (which has since been trimmed to no more than about ten minutes compared to the hour minimum of the past. I had three good Forge map ideas tumbling around in my head, but then I started driving sports cars into crowded intersections and... I'm sorry, I need a moment. A GTA moment...
Please friend, take that moment. Take that moment and you sit with it. Sit with it liek have never sat with a moment before in your life. Friend... I hear you. I know what you mean, this moment is for all the people who have been touched by GTAIV. Oh and friend, when this moment passes I think I shall go run over some old ladie with a SabreGT and then shot some cops for the hell of it =]
I like and dislike tons of stuff in the game. Like: -Single Player -Missions -NIKO!!! My cousin!!!! -Cars Dislike -Driving -Online (HORRIBLE!!!) i cant really tell much yet, being that i bought the game yesterday, so.... I'll probably get used to most stuff
how can you guys dislike the driving, have you ever played a GTA game before in your life its so straightforward and easy to drive... maybe you guys suck?
Definetly getting it, maybe even today if I'm lucky :O Perhaps? I'll probably find some guys to muck around with and spend all my time online. Oooh, hope I has the cash :3 One question, how are the explosions? They look nice on youtube. Not Crackdown nice, but realistic nice.
Wow? U hate the online? why? I love it! They made things from other types of games WORK! Also you have to work on driving, you cant just assume that you'll good at it...(Thats what I thought). HINT: To be good a driving, you gotta learn what brake to use...
I dont know about you guys but I got a HUGE liberty city map in my game case? I agree with most of view with the camera view but i've grown on it, I have finally reached the 2nd island. Taking the game slow, taking it all in but still is amazingly fun! But thanks to everyone who posted here, never thought it would be this popular.
yeah, i guess i gotta get used to driving... as to the online, its not that i hate it, but when you have played halo and cod for so long, you get used to comparing everything to it, and of course GTA wouldnt stand up to their full heights, for being new and all to multiplayer, but they still do a good job
its not even the same genre of game at all you are a moron for comparing them and nice try to whoever tried to neg rep me in this thread lol
I got it last week and have hardly put down the controller since. Unfortunately, I still haven't gotten to the point where the bridges to the other two islands open, so I've really only seen the tip of the iceburg so far.
fps's are a wayyy different gameplay than this. Which means completely different online experience. here, let me have Jules explain it for you: "it ain't the same f*cking ballpark. It ain't the same league, it ain't even the same f*cking sport."
Well, I'm almost finished with the campaign (although the mission I'm on is a real pain), and now that I've seen and done almost everything, I can say that the only things I hate are the driving (turning and breaking are far more difficult than they were in the past) and the sometimes clunky cover system. Aside from that, every (every) aspect of the game is perfect.
I have to say GTA is one of the best games I have ever played. I haven't been on Halo since I got it, and barely on ForgeHub. Though, I have so say that I was thinking the camera and driving would be so bad from the way you guys put it. Once I played it I thought it was all fine and that driving was easy. Maybe that is because I never really played any of the other GTA's. I'm almost done with the main story mode, I think. I am going to go for a 100% though. Those pigeons will take forever...
I take a fence to that. Also, I'm offended by that remark. *says the fat, smelly dude from the midnight launch* On a serious note, the GameStop where two friends and I went to get it had some cool pre-launch stuff going on. They handed out about a hundred foam "shockers" and loads of wanted posters, everyone got a card good for two free song downloads (Flashing Lights - Kanye West and Because of You - Ne-Yo. No other choices, and both suck hard), and a car kept driving throug the parking lot playing the San Andreas loading screen music. It was great stuff.
