You're supposed to play it with the supported custom gametype.

I did, but it was still flyable. I'm assuming it's not supposed to be.

Then there's something wrong with your version. Re-download it because every game I've played and everyone else I know who has played it has never had a problem with the falcon being flyable.

I did read the thread but I didn't realize that if any humans just stay in the spawn the game basically gets ruined since there is no way to get them. I think it would be better if you didn't have to go by an honor system rule because let's face it, not everyone plays by rules that aren't enforced for them. Is there any possible way to make it so the humans HAVE to advance without ruining your game?

None that I can think of. I don't want to use safe havens and I can't make kill areas spawn later into the game.

no but you can have objects spawn in those areas making them pointless to be in, like a wall. Or even something that might kill the player like a large object, or an object that sends them out of that area of the map like some man cannons.

    That's a good idea.

Blocking off certain areas of the building after a certain amount of time would be contradictory to the camping in the buildings complaint because it only adds to it. In response to your other suggestion, the problem is you'd have to cover the entire massive building. Even if you did have enough objects to cover every square inch, I'm flat out of money.

Is it not possible just to play with ONE honor rule?

part of why people camp in infection is to be able to shoot at zombies with relative ease and feel safety that the zombies can't get to them easily. If you block off a part of the map that people are supposed to be past with say a wall, then that decreases the incentive to camp there. Whats the point of camping in a walled off room with nothing to do. And sure honor rules for the most part are followed but there will always be the people who don't, and if you want this map to be accepted by the larger community you have to have a way of dealing with the scenario of people not playing your map the correct way.

I suppose just booting people that don't follow the rules could work. Another idea that is relatively cheap to implement is to put teleporters near areas where people may camp but in areas where the campers can't get to or directly see. This way zombies could quickly access the area and take care of the campers.

Bolded=Most effective method and how people have done it since the beginning of time. If the people that refuse to play properly don't want to, then fine that's their problem. Just boot them if they're disrupting the game. I'm just trying to please those who want to play and enjoy the map the way it's meant to be used.

Isn't it possible to expand the active range of a teleporter? Couldn't you essentially spawn a teleporter with an active area the size of the entire human spawn that teleports anyone who camps in that room to the area of the map where the rest of the humans should be? I mean you obviously did some testing to see where humans would be at certain times in order to spawn different teleporters in the zombie spawn. You could do the same to force people out of the spawn.

Sorry for this bump, but I was skeptical about this map until we played it. Wow. VERY tense experience. It feels like left 4 dead this time around. In fact, everyone in the party left afterward: to play left 4 dead. I'm going to be video reviewing this. Good job, can't wait for the next one.

Off topic: How would you set load-outs for zombies, but not humans? Can you?

The one and only problem: once the zombies first teleporter closes off, the humans can camp in the upper part of the map, and although they lose, it's no fun. You should spawn a soft kill barrier 30 seconds after the first zombie teleporter closes.

    Oh. You can't.... hm.

I've got an idea: (if you have teleporters left) 30 seconds after the first tele closes, spawn one to the left of the block that spawns to close the 1st tele off. Those 30 seconds give the humans a rest, but then zombies start coming for them again.

Zombies are tier 2 in loadouts, humans are tier 1.

    Awesome, I didn't know that, thanks :)
What does the tier 2 and 3 do in other game modes, like slayer?
The map looks reaaaallly goood! but I haven't tested it yet.
Got an ETA on act 3?

I don't believe they do anything in slayer or any other game modes besides Invasion of.

I have no plans for Act 3 right now, I am currently testing the Act 1 remake and then moving on to a couple different projects before continuing with the series.

The ladder looks confusing, me and my friends thought the falcon was the holdout area :S

played the map with a group of people and everyone thought it was amazing. 5/5 for effort and gameplay. I just have one question: How do you make the ladder work like that because it would be perfect for a project im working on at the moment. Again, amazing effort.

K... Haven't played but I WILL be at my next hosted LAN party. This looks terrific. I've always thought that we needed some good maps that bring some "direction" to MP gaming in Halo. The ol' "run n gun" is getting old for me and some ppl I game with. This gives me some inspiration and I will certainly get a new map out soon with this sort of gameplay!

    Keep up the good work!

Love the look and feel of the map. Good job. But the gameplay worries me. whats to keep the humans from finding some area that easy to camp and just settling in? I have not yet playede the map, so maybe ill see youve adressed this issue.
