Well, since basically nobody here knows how to do it, here's a video tutorial on how to geo-glitch with doors in foundry. Includes geoing boxes into foundrys walls and floor and geoing corner walls, mostly the basics. It gets alot more comlicated when you do something like geoing into the crane or center of the map. http://gameroom.mlgpro.com/view/yUZKH2o28h0.html I love you mephisto for capping it! <3 This isn't the technique I posted last time, just watch the video. Its way easier, faster and consistent. How to Geo-glitch If somebody could cap it and post it here, that'd be great. Just wanted to get this technique out there. I DID NOT DISCOVER THIS.
Wrong. We all know it... Well except for the juniors but everybody knows you get smart((er) some never really ARE smart) when you reach 100 posts.
Trust me, I'm the one who posted that. This is way different and gets way more complex. I haven't seen anybody on forge hub do any of this, except for a couple single boxes into the floor.
Like I said... This is in the Forge 101. Its detailed. The tut covers BOTH methods of merging extensively. Scroll to the last 2 pages or so for step by step pics on how to merge double boxes into Avalanche at an angle... with doors. Its much more common than you think
Seen it, I read the topic. I doubt barely anybody knows what I do in the video. There's no 'try it again, then try it again.' I did 3 objects in 4 minutes, perfectly straight. Before you tell me you already know it, watch the video.
lies. 3 objects, nearly 9 minutes.. I'm not too sure what you gain from lying about this... its kinda sad. Also, like i've said before, its nothing new at all... instead of using walls/bridges to brace you use teleporter nodes. Its good you have a video tut for people to watch, im sure itll help some people out, even tho itd be better if it was capped and embedded. Either way this should have been posted as a reply to the Merging 101. And there's definitely a lot of people using merging now, its not NEAR as uncommon as you think.
i posted it here becuse i get 50 messages a day asking how i do it and asking to post a tut on forge hub. if you dont find it useful, dont post. simple.
You've been here long enough to go by the rules. Don't just brush it off like you're special when someone points it out. You easily could have said "you are right, I should have posted it in the thread already made"
I dled it. Its more of a new method to an old trick, he used teleporters instead of boxes, and it turned out very neat. I like it.
+rep for the constructive post. I think I can imagine the level of requests you get for this, now you can reply with a link. Youtube would be nice so I can embed it into F101, let me know if that is a possibility. Thanks.
