Christ... just played a game of Invasion on Spire. During phase 3 as an elite, I grabbed the rocket launcher and went to the top of the Spire. 3 other team mates were by the core watching the lift room. I stood by the door for that room with the rocket launcher. A spartan came up the lift and I fired a rocket into the room and missed. I couldn't see what was going on in the room, but I saw the spartan again and fired my rocket again, then I saw another elite rush and kill him. Then the splash damage from my rocket killed 3 team mates and I got booted. That why the hell would you rush the enemy when you know a rocket went in there the first time?
@Shroomz: That's the whole point of betrayal boot, so you don't blindly shoot rockets and throw grenades at your teammates. If we could adopt a community that would actually stop and think about if a betrayal was deliberate or accidental, instead of booting on an impulse, that would be great.
I always forgive people if they betray me. Even if i was going to get a Triple Kill as long as it wasn't on purpose i forgive everybody.
I generally forgive people as well, especially if it's splash damage when I run in to attack someone. If I'm by myself and get betrayed by a team mate by a sniper shot, then they're booted though. There's no way you can convince me that you couldn't hit an enemy with a sniper rifle, but managed to hit me when I'm standing still.
