Mlg Cellar 1.0 created by MMufasa and BravossDavoss

Mlg Cellar is an inspired remake of halo 1's map Prisoner. With the help of my friend what originally started out as pixel perfect remake of prisoner was converted into a small mlg stlyed map capable of supporting 2-8 players. Cellar supports both team slayer and oddball. Cellar has gone through countless testing and changes each improving gameplay aspects of the map. For anyone who is familiar with halo 1's prisoner the most obvious changes are a decreased amount of levels from 4 to 2 and the added hallways and ramps to make the map both bigger and easier to get to the 2nd level.

During the testing stages we decided to make custom gametype that better suited our map. These gametypes are almost identical with the mlg official gametypes with the only change been a decrease in the number of starting nades (from 2-1). Note, Mlg has not yet released an official oddball gametype so we had to mold ours of halo 3's with the only change been the number of nades and the ball being 1 hit (not intentional couldn't find the right settings).

Cellar team slayer: Bungie.net : Halo Reach : File Details

Cellar oddball: Bungie.net : Halo Reach : File Details

Thanks to all who helped test the map. Enjoy :)

Haha can this be moved into the mlg section sorry (stupid mistake)

This looks good. I always loved Prisoner. I will download it. What about headhunter? That seems like a gametype that would be fun on here.

Thx. I never thought about headhunter, but I guess it could work. Ill let you know if I put this in a later version. The main reason why the map has a general lack of gametypes is because mlg does.

This looks like a really great map... though, obviously it probably should be put in the MLG section.

From what I can see... since the map is so small nades will obviously be a problem so I've liked what you've done with the editing of the gametypes. Not sure about oddball though... even with only 1 nade start you might find that the game becomes a scramble for the oddball and no basic setup needed.

Would be interested to see if any of the new gametypes for reach work on this map... like shifty said, headhunter looks like it could be fun.

I've added you... let me know when you want to test it, I'd love to play.

Good job on the map so far.

Ok. So I got a chance to walk through the map. I am on at late hours so I didn't get a chance to actually play.

But from what I saw, it is really nice. My only problem is the ceiling. It's too high. I constantly was looking for a third level but never found one. I would suggest maybe lowering the ceiling that way people are not looking for a third floor in the heat of battle. Especially Halo: CE vets.

Also, very nice touch to the teleporter. Adding the one way shield down to keep people from camping was a great idea.

Other than that it is really good. Hell I would even go as far to make it an actual remake if you got really bored.

Thankyou for your comment. I can defiantly see what your saying about the roof but it was intentional. I built the roof as high as possible because it makes the map feel bigger and more open, what it also does is allows for room for people who wish to use there jet packs without hitting the roof. I am certain that once someone has played the map a few times and had a feel for the map looking for the third floor in the heat of battle wont be an issue.

I am considering (when i can get some spare time on my hands) building the rest of the floors up and making it a full remake of prisoner.
