Delimitation

    This isn't a remake, however the general game play was meant to feel very much like High Ground. I was also inspired to do something decent with that Island on Forge World, seeing as Paradiso just irks me so much. I give you "Delimitation". It being an accurate remake is not what i'm looking for, what i am interested is hearing that the map as a whole plays well. It's the first time i really dug into the spawn times and placements of weapons with friends, and i'm really helping it goes well. On a side note, it's very important that i get some opinions of the gate at the moment. it stops vehicles pretty alright at first, though it's intent is for the offense to have to get behind the gate in order to destroy the explosives and push aside the barriers. Enjoy the scenery!

    Added after 7 Hours 8 minutes:

    I'ev updated the download with v.06. I've changed the front door to be alot harder to get through untill one destorys the plasma gens. I've also gone and placed plenty of magnum and assault rifle ammo across the map, as well as added a focus rifle to the the Vent entrance.

    Added after 1:

    v0.7 has been uploaded. Changes include faster warthog spawns, lessened focus rifle respawn time, more mongooses and a brand new gate featuring a shield door. Enjoy!

    reminds me of halo 2 zanzibar from what I see (is high ground the halo 3 remake of zanzibar?)

    Like vorpal said, you should take out the spoiler screenies ;) it would be cool to have versions of the overhead but with markers for general/initial spawn points, flags etc.

    Let me know if I can help you test it sometime, all I ask is you can give the same courtesy when I get a group ready for mine ;)

    Wow this map looks incredible! Let me know when you have this posted and I can play and give you a full review of the map. :D

    I am very much against the idea of having those crates in the gate. Other than that, this map looks pretty decent.

    Zanziground. Amazing, Just Genious. My 2 favourite maps in Halo 3 mixed into one. Are you testing? Sign me up if you are. This is just amazing. Are you gonna make it so theres Headhunter, KOTH Etc.? I can't wait for your release.

    The Crates sit there with plasma batteries behind them. The shield is in place to disallow offense from igniting the batteries from the front. Once the batteries explode and shove the crates aside, the warthog pushes them about like nothing, and they dissapear, never to respawn, after 10 seconds.

    The map is currently testing, and has a thread in the testers guild. After i recieve there input, i'll be sure to have all the other game modes working, and will happilly test those quickly before posting it up in the release threads. Feel free to download and enjoy untill them! Feedback and comments are very welcome!
