    Hi
I'd like to make a map that includes multiple inclines down which soccer balls continually roll from their frequent spawn points at the top. Here are my questions.

Does an object have to be destroyed before it will be re-spawned? If so, is there a way to destroy a soccer ball?

Is it possible to place an object that rolls in forge at the top of an incline so that, when it spawns in game mode, it starts there and rolls down the incline?

    Many thanks

I think if a ball suffers too many explosions at once it will reset. So lets say you roll a soccer ball into a box with a bunch of landmines that instantly respawn after they explode. If you somehow make sure that once the soccerball gets into this box with the landmines it can't get out, the soccer ball should reset. I'm not sure of this though, I've just noticed soccer balls reseting after taking too many explosions at once.

Also yes it is possible to spawn a ball on an incline so then the game starts it rolls down. In forge, take a ball, choose fixed physics. Place the ball on the incline and let go of the ball. Next, without selecting the ball by pressing A, just go over the ball, press X and choose normal physics. Your ball should stay in place, but then when you start an actual game it will roll down the incline

Setting the ball at fixed and then normal works great. However, land mines can not destroy soccer balls. I trapped one in an inverted box bunker full of mines that re-spawn every second and it just bounced around with each explosion forever. Any other thoughts on how to get rid of a soccer ball?

It's not that the ball explodes, it's that it receives a certain amount of damage and then is left alone (I think). Try looking at some "Golfing" maps and see what they did to make the ball reset after the course was completed. The one I played on was called simply, "Halo Golf"
