Is it possible..

    Is it possible to have 4 or more flags on a map? As in one for the red team, one for the blue, the green, the purple, etc?

    I played a 4 team CTF match once in UT2004 and it was chaos. The score to win was high of course, and you could grab multiple flags at once. Amazing.

    You wouldn't be able to carry more than one flag, but I don't see why you wouldn't be able to set up a ctf game for more than two teams.

    Yes, multi-flag CTF is common. Hell, you could even have more than one flag per team (I think).

    But in custom CTF can't you only pick red and blue?

    You could use stockpile with 15 second pickup time and flags lock in destination.

    Nope. All the colors of the rainbow are available- at least in multiflag?

    When you place a flag item, you can change the team color.

    Sorry to bump this (even though it is only a week old). Do the flags change color according to the team? Like can the flags be green, purple, etc? Or are they always blue/red?

    They will change color.

    Although I'm fairly certain you can only have 4 team CTF.

    And one more question. Do I have to make a separate gametype for this? Or can I use the regular CTF gametype?

    There is 4 team CTF. I tried it, default maps are terrible for it.

    Basic Multi-Flag will spawn a flag for any team with at least one player on. You won't need to make a different game variant.
