Ummmm. Guys. I was playing XBL Big Team Battle this morning on Paradiso when I encountered a very large hack. Not sure what he was doing but he racked up 45 kills in a 5 minute game with extreme jumping, speed, firing rate, and damage. I saved the film for careful scrutiny by the community because I'm not very knowledgeable about this kinda stuff. PLEASE download and tell me what you think. I wouldn't worry too much about it. Infinity Ward's banhammer is yellow with a red head and it squeaks as children bang it against blocks. Bungie's banhammer sparks and sends gravity shockwaves as it comes crashing down upon the skulls of any who try to game the system. I mean, look at the challenge resets. 15,000 resets handed out in the blink of an eye, and that was nothing compared to the magnitude of this transgression.
If this is the same mod as the one I've seen a video of, then I'm pretty sure it's a JTag mod which adds an aimbot to all weapons, gives the DMR an insane RoF and increases speed. I saw a video of some guy using it on The Cage. I heard it's very difficult to do though, and only something available to JTaggers, so it shouldn't be something you run across all the time by any means.

I'm curious how this works for other weapons and what the precise specs are. I've had a two encounters with players using sniper rifles who suddenly spun and headshotted me as about as I reached radar range. The case I remember best: I was walking around the edge of hemmorage and saw a sniper not moving who I assumed was scoped in so would not have notices me. I approached from about 45 degrees behind on his left going for the assassination since I only had an AR which would be useless once he noticed me. I started sprinting out of cover, and when I got within radar range he suddenly spun (10 sensitivity) and headshotted me without pausing to aim. Now I went top of my team with only assassinations in a game of team sniper on reflection so I doubt this was due to me failing at stealth.
Someone should render that. I checked out is game history and he was bloody K/D-ing +25 or more every game!
It's a JTag modded box. As I understand it, the guys who do this get their boxes banned quite frequently actually, but there's some replacement part they can buy for their banned box and be right back at it again, modded gamertag and all. I believe it costs them money to unban their xboxes, so there aren't too many people doing this stuff. Usually it's this same Jester guy that was doing it in Halo 3. He's got too much time on his hands and apparently some money to burn.
I encountered one guy who said he was such a good hacker that he could make it so Micriosoft saw other gamertags as his when he hacked so other people got banned. As I was in a custom he NARRATED doing it to a chinese kid. Then he said he hacked Microsoft with someone elses account to buy the kid a year of XBL to make it up to him. I'm pretty sure that's not possible and whenever the guy got out of the party to talk to his "girlfriend" on the phone (who apparently is so beautiful that some guy at his school planned on ambushing him when school started so that the hacker, who was also a black belt, would have to beat him up and get suspended, so that he would be out of the picture while this guy attempts to steal her.) anyway when he got off every few minutes we made fun of him. We did kick him from the party but he was somhow able to get it to back in. Sorry if this makes no sense, I'm really tired and can't form proper thoughts.
yep. it may piss you off, but he's probably jumping in and out of scope constantly to check his radar. i don't think that ones a cheat
