Bulldogs on The Playground! Never played Bulldogs at school? Well now you can see what you were missing out on by playing it in Halo. Created by KINGBARTLETT & SIKAMIKANICO Genius game design by KINGBARTLETT Shenanigans carried out by SIKAMIKANICO Rules: The bulldogs (or infected) spawn in the middle of the playground. All remaining players stand at one end of the area (home). The aim of the game is to run from one end of the field of play to the other, without being caught by the bulldogs. When a player is caught, they become a bulldog themselves. The last man standing will be awarded 10 points. All other points are awarded as normal. Each game of bulldogs consists of four rounds. The players will spawn with Evade, a plasma pistol and normal speed. The bulldogs will spawn with Sprint and 120% speed. Players are invulnerable within the haven, which will last for 15 seconds from the moment the first player enters it. A round will end when all players have become bulldogs. This is laugh out loud fun, with players screaming with triumph (or terror) as they just make it over the safe line. Don't believe me? Here's a video. Bulldogs - The video! At all of my school, this is called sharks, or seaweed monsters or whatever...cross the ocean is most common. Usually, the tagged people have to sit down...they don't become a shark. You should make another version where people only have one life. So once your out, your out.
I've played this when i was younger, and you got it right. The whole idea is that it gets harder to evade as more people get tagged. I love it!
you played retarded rules.. Bulldog is supposed to get harder cause when the fat kid starts he has a chance to eventually catch everyone. Having one "shark" as you call it would suck if he's a "great-white" and can't run fast or anything........... playground logic always wins Bulldog FTW!
EPIC!!! I loved this game at school However, since we started college, we had no playground, but a common room for sitting eating and watching t.v. so were all kinda out of shape, lol. but now, i can play this awesome game without getting out of breath, and for that i thank you Downloaded and done
Oh god, I haven't played British bulldogs in years. I'm really looking forward to this, and I'll give you my review after testing the game, I'll admit it looks awesome.
Great mini-game, played it in my TGIF lobby and everyone loved it. Just some feedback though.. Put a soft kill zone along the side of the safe zones so that zombies cannot camp there, also increase the damage the humans do in the safe zone so that they can kill any camping zombies. (This will just fix it so that there will be no honor rules) Great job
Me and my friends loved it last night! Brings back school memories forreal. I agree maybe put a couple soft kill zones to avoid camping.. Im really looking forward to more maps from you
This game was great. It played it fun, and exiting, and is one of the best games I've come across yet. Some things I felt need changing were the melee damage in the Safe Haven. Something I tried and liked was changing the Melee damage too 300% taking away a zombies shields once their punched. This gives them an obvious sign to back up and get what's going on. The ability's worked perfectly, but I'd remove Elites do to their unfair advantage in speed. Overall I really enjoyed this game, and update would make it near perfect.
We called it Sharks and Minnows at my school. This is classic and the forger is genius for this game A++++. Rules are perfect from what I remember
This is really fun, brings back great memories from primary school Played this with 14 - 16 people and it is absolute carnage haha When you are last guy it is impossible but oh well. Perhaps make it so that, the zombies have evade and survivors have sprint? To give them more of a chance? I'm not sure
Elites should definitely not be allowed. Thanks for the heads up, I'll update the gametype accordingly when I get a chance. Thanks for all the comments and kind words people, glad you're enjoying it!
We played this with 16 players the other day. There was a bit of lag but overall everybody loved it. It often takes a couple of rounds for everybody to be satisfied that it's fair, but once everyones settled it's a great laugh.
Do you mean the map lags, or was just lag caused by having 16 players in a game? Glad to hear you had fun though.
Hey Sik if u dont mind would u link them to my map it would give them more of a variety in playing. Im on my wife computer and dont have it readily available. Play your gametype just about everyday love it.
i use to play this game in the pool its called "sharks and minnows" and i must say you have it exactly right!
Crazy.. I had the same idea with Halo 3, same game title and map name too but only played it a few times since I could never get the settings how I wanted. The only difference was a more narrow playground. I'm definitely downloading this.
