That October update looks amazing; it has me pumped up for this Halloween, and I haven't really cared about that holiday for some years now. I just really hope that Notch doesn't overwork himself until then in thinking that he has just "promised" everyone all that and now he has to do it - but either he does it or not, I'm really thrilled to see that up today. Anyway, do you guys play on any servers just for fooling around and such? I saw the CivilizationCraft thread already, and it looks pretty awesome, but I have to be completely in the mood for role-playing of that sort. Right now I'd just be aiming to mess around.
Reading that update, I think I just came. And thank god for our existing torches becoming lanterns. Very helpful.
Also, I'm rendering two more minecraft videos for upping sometime this week. First one probably tonight, next one wednesday/thursday

Im loving the new update ideas. Brings more challenge to the game, mostly with the torches but hell nothing that wont be hard to get around. Oh and from what iv been reading we dont know about the torches being replacements. being if they would then notch would have to make another id for torches, being the original ID for them would then be lanterns. Just have to wait and see.
from 11:30 last night to 5:45 this morning, I was addicted to watching some guy's adventures in Minecraft. Needless to say, I'm intrigued. What to do/download/pay for to get in on the fun?
