Re: Requiem This map is no way sloppy.. I think it is you, who is sloppy. Requiem has straight walls, a TON of interlocking, and is probably one of the best maps I've seen in a while.. Sloppy.. I think not sir.
Re: Requiem *4 new pics added* All of them are roof off pics since some people requested them. You can now have an idea of how the round room looks since a good pic was basically impossible before,even though this pic barely does it justice.
Aww dude tightness! I love maps like these, cool fence floors, tight spaces and barriers to make coming around that corner unpredictable.
Exactly what I like my friend,exactly what I like. To me there is a big draw to an enclosed map,and to mix something that is 80% enclosed and 20% open and still make it feel tight and unpredictable was what made me happy with this map. I have to say this is my favorite map that I have created.
Well duh it is, who doesn't like their own maps, and usually their latest because that is the one they have played most recently...

Not a new technique, but certainly one of my faves. I'm glad you like it, I spent some serious time on the build, getting the right heights and such for the floors so it runs as smooth as possible. I actually have an early version that I designed as a 1v1 map,but I never released it because the main build is very similar.
