This is just the centerpiece for my upcoming map 'The Gift'. That is the index floating above the hand, with a halo ring around it. teh pondz. This will be a competitive map, and this is the center.
Haha thanks bro. I just finished the basic design of the map now, so it will be a small symmetrical map.
Can we see another angle of the hand? That angle makes it seem like the hand is pretty anatomically incorrect and i just wanna see it from the side. edit: nice work on the ponds btw. They look awesome.
Good to know that wasn't what it looked like at first (I am VERY anti-religion.) It looks nice, can't wait to see the whole thing.
Seems strange that you built such a detailed centre piece first. I'd probably make sure I had room for the centre piece, leave a place holder for it and work on the map itself before working on something which is nearly totally aesthetic. (And Atik, just because you have chosen atheism, doesn't mean there is anything wrong with anyone else being religious. Your views are different to others, I accept that. Most religions will (in some way or another) encourage people to accept that others will believe what they will believe. Free will and all that. You can't force people to believe things, that sort of defeats the point)
Neo- I'll be updating soon when i actually have the basics of the map forged, so I'll post another view of the hand DMM- Ya I see what you mean, I just really wanted to have a nice aesthetic piece and a playable map. I decided to make the aesthetic piece first to see if it would work well, and I think it turned out nicely kill- if you put a shield door directly against something it makes that effect.
