Why do they just paste a link to the map? It doesent seem like they ever come back to check their post once in a while. Newbies are soooooo stupid!
I know, it frustrates me so much when I see just a link and text saying that its the best. Then I see that its their first post. They must see a few maps and think, hey mine's better than that(which it isnt) every must know this. So they think that they just need a link and they're good as gold. I'm not trying to scare off new members, I'm just saying look around at the other maps available before you post yours. I was a member for about 3 months before I posted my first map. I saw heaps of diferent styles of map threads and knew what needed to be included. The most important thing is that you must have pride in your maps. I take a lot of pride in my map threads, I make them as descriptive and informative as possible. And in all of my map threads(except for the first couple) have a sweet graphic below the title.
