A Dig to China Work together as humans to overcome obsticles in your way, as a slow moving powerfull zombie follows you. Reach the final room for any chance of survival. This is inspired by a map from halo 3. 4-16 Players -The zombie and the human both spawn in the same room. Though the zombie is stuck in a cage for 95 seconds giving the humans a head start and a chance to get away. -The humans then have to work their way through creates using their weapons to push them back, through a tunnel of sheild doors, push their way through a room of balls, use Jet Packs to get to the next area (only four Jet Packs), the four that have the jet packs must push their way through a road block and unblock the teleporter for the others. -The humans then reach the final room, choose their weapons and try to survive. -The Zombie is able to use a checkpoint system when it dies. When the humans past certain parts of the map they will unblock teleporters for the zombie to quickly travel through the map. When the zombie(s) die they will spawn in a room with a choice of what checkpoint to go to. *NOTE* Elites can not be used, as they don't fit through some of the crawl spaces. Found that out the hard way. Dig away from the zombie! Zombie will be let out after 95 seconds Tip: Use the Sword Find your way out of the balls. Dont panic! Use the the jet pack dispenser. Only four jet packs,hence people with jet packs must open the teleporter on the other side for the others. The last stand, Choose your weapon and prepare for battle! Nice map, had a blast with 8 people. Took us a while before we worked out what to do but after that it was fun. That room at the was so awesome, good work. Deffeniatly a keeper.
My only concern is that it looks like the zombie has to just stand around for a while before he can even move.
Yeh, kind of has to be like that. Otherwise the zombie will be really overpowered, I suppose the zombie can think about how unlucky they are to be the zombie. Anyway the zombie has a large range on its radar so I think it would be able to talk to the humans.
Dude awesome map! I was so hoping that somebody would recreate this from halo 3. 16 player fat kid games were the best.
small problem... elites cant fit through the tunnel with the covy shields and you can get into the fat kid spawn with the help of a teammate or you can concussion jump... might want to fix this immediately
Cant find a way to turn elites off in customs, and I figured if you jump into the zombie spawn your not looking to survive anyway. Anyone know how to turn elites off?
Here's my main concern: It seems like the moment the humans unblock one of the checkpoints, the zombie could be waiting at the sender, teleport through, and kill everyone. Of course, this is just a theory.
The Zombie will be only able to use the checkpoints after its first death, I surpose be careful around the checkpoints if you have killed the zombie. Which is difficult to do untill you reach the final room. Dont know how much can be done about that, the checkpoints save the zombie from walking the entre way everytime.
Great map, but you know what sucks? Being the fat kid is the least fun in any game for me, ever. I have seen sooo many people that just leave after realizing that they are the fat kid. Nice map though.
Thanks, yeh regarding being the fat kid. We tryed to put in the checkpoints to speed things up a bit and so the zombie doesn't have to walk the entire map over and over. But yeh I know what you mean.
95 seconds? What ever happened top the good old 45? By 95 seconds I'll probably be half way to the final room.
