Edit: New version with Grav Hammer spawn. I was messing with the weapon spawns and forgot to add it back.

Alrighty, so I've been working on this remake of the Halo 3 map, Guardian since Day 2 of Reach Launch and it's finally done. Not too much to describe about the map considering I'm sure almost all of you have played on the original. In my opinion, this is the most accurate Guardian remake to date, and my friends who helped me test it seem to agree. I hope you at least download it and check it out. Thank you.

    Here's some pikatures:

This is by far the best Guardian remake so far. A few small things that don't quite feel right, but that may just be because Reach is different than Halo 3.

That looks like a great remake. However the floating in are thing just doesn't work. I suggest using a lot of rocks and making some kind of large pillage attached to the bottom that goes down to the ocean, then attach some more large rocks branching off other parts of the map attaching to the pillar.

Then just put a kill volume so people can't jump on the rocks.

You could attach it to the side of a cliff, like in Halo 3. I defiantly want to see a v2.

I've gone ahead and download this, i'll definitely be giving it a run soon. I can already say that i'm loving the clean look and resourceful forging, however the current placement and location floating in the air really isn't doing anything for me.. I might put time into simply transplanting the map if it turns out to really bother me xD

That was the plan when I started the map. But I've ran out of rocks that I can use and I only have $40 left. So yeah...

I agree with what others have said. This is the cleanest looking Guardian remake yet, by far, in my opinion. But yes, I would perhaps suggest moving it to be attached to the cliff.

    Good work, thanks for sharing.

This looks like a very accurate remake, and

    Added after 1:

Sorry for double posting, it was an error. This map has the best tree stump area of Guradian remakes I´ve seen so far, and the rest looks good as well. Maybe add a little aesthetics, like the galaxy thing in the blue room. Ill DL over the weekend.

This map really captures the feel of guardian, despite it's locale. I really like the way it flows and especially the clean forging and smooth floors. My only problem with it is that you seem to be missing weapons, as well as the budget to include them D= Might i suggest removing the green light to free up enough cash to put in the hammer, the sniper rifle, and whatever else i may have missed?

OMG. I'm so stupid. I was messing with the weapon spawns and apparently I forgot to re-add the hammer. The new version is in the OP.

Also, thanks for the comments guys. It's really too bad that there isn't a "move all objects" feature, but oh well.

there should be a tree coming through the corner. It is actually quite important to the LOS in that area. I'd use either a rock spire 1, or a rock spire 2 to create that feature. Here is a picture.[IMG]

I was aware of this when making the map but didn't have enough rocks to put it in and didn't think it was so important that I needed to try to find a way to rearrange my other rocks to make room for that one.

Dude yes you are right. This is the best,i have 2 or 3 now but this one actually gets the scale right. Some of the other ones are really good but you always find blue room is 15 foot long or elbow is 10 by 10 meters.
