Flawhalla a re-imagined Valhalla holding similar yet different terrain and structures along with similar yet different weapons its much bigger but sprint compensates for this. Weapon changes from original with DMR replacing BR and Plasma grenade launcher replacing missile pod. Along with drop shield replacing bubble shield. Only supports CTF and TS. 2x Sniper 2x Plasma grenade launcher 12x DMR 2x Spiker 2x Shotgun 2x Plasma pistol 1X lazor 2x Banshee 2x Warthog 5x Moongoose 1x Dropshield Soft kill zone only surrounding the top structure to prevent the Banshee drop on the top section. Long enough time for banshee to take cover but not enough time for a sniper to camp out Plays best with out abilities other than sprint. But if you must use them the only armor ability recommendation I have is not to use jetpacks. ------------------ Flawhalla dos Holds a few updates including a structure similar to a downed pelican and side man cannons. i like it u did good with what u had it captures the feel of Valhalla my one problem is no side man cannons !?
yeah went in there to try to fix that myself but the low budget prevented that imma post this hopefully it help http://www.haloforever.com/images/maps/halo_3_maps_valhalla_big.jpg ...around #12 in that picture i was wondering can u add those 2 inclines around the river also im not gunna lie the pelican could use a little work if possible with budget and all but besides that its a great remake ... best out there really captures the feel
Pelicans no longer a pelican its a small bunker thats been covered in terrain. Or thats what I tell my self to let me sleep. I'll probaly change it too if i can find some wiggle room with the budget, the waterfall may have to go, its asthetically remenicant of valhalla but it serves no gameplay mechanic. And as for the other changes I'll try anything that someone thinks can make it feel more valhalla-ish could you open the picture in paint and outline the two inclines your speaking off? thanks.
the inclines im talking about is like those 2 cliffs near the hill when u go off the man cannon look at the picture again around 12 lol...but yeah definitely looking forward to an update definitely need those side man cannons lol....1 question what gametypes does this currently support ?
2nd to last screen shot they are in there bro maybe they could be raised a tad. I just changed the lift distance so the spartan falls before then.

Hmmm...... NEEDZ Lasors! On a serious note, no Laser is on this map :-( If you are going to delete stuff to make more stuff, be sure the laser is one of them. No lasors takes away from Valhalla and makes it no fun. Other than that Dling and making a Halo 3 Reminiscent Gametype for it.
Oh but you didn't add it into your weapon list. But yeah I dled it and I found it. Add it into your weapon list so not to cause confuzzlness. (Unless I missed that recent update too)
No prob man. I like it a lot. Personally I like it better than orginal Valhalla. Terrain isn't as uppity and it doesn't affect LOS as much. (Line of sight) Vehicle travel is easier, there are less of those annoying BR fights. (Now it's DMRs yay, a weapon that actually takes skill) And overall the flow is arranged better. Didn't expect that kind of response, its great to see someone else enjoying the map. As I've stated before I no longer have easy acces to halo 3 so I can't load it up, so does anyone know one of the gameplay guides that might have the spawn list/location/number for objectives ie Hills and Terretories.
hey man hows the update on this map i always want to play on this map on custom games but the main problem for me are those side mancannons so im waiting for an update...also if you changed anything itd be cool....just havent heard from you in a while and wanted to see how this map was coming along?
I like the looks of everything in this map except you remodeling of the shape of the original valhalla tower. I personally likes how the tower did not have anything jutting from it. But still, looks awesome.
I didn't want to recreate the tower tops to look how they looked before but I might end up forging it as an alternative at some point when the rest of the map feels final. +Added new version with some tweaks Like the side cannons.
