Hi, First post! Anyway, I have this problem. In forge, I selected the map forge world, I went to quarry, set up my stuff. I made a spawn point and then said, delete all of these. It went away and then I setup all the points to spawn. I made a respawn point and went delete all of these. I saved the map and then proceeded to play it after one death it spawns me outside of the quarry and to the other forge spawns. Now this is KOTH! And in forge lobby for editing I set it to KOTH. So what's the problem. I have a safe area boundary, around the quarry. So when it spawns me out I die. Can anyone help?
Just to clarify, did you replace the spawns you deleted? Because if you don't have spawns on a map you won't spawn where you want to.
yeah it sounds like when you clicked delete all of these spanws you erased all of the existing ones, and once you delete all these existing ones where you spawn is completely random, hence your problem (i think)
Read above plz ^^^. In it I stated, I made an initial spawn point, and deleted it. Then proceeded to setup new ones. But when i played the map and died, it would spawn me out of my spawn points i setup and onto places like the Colosseum, the Island and that huge Rock.
Are your spawn points set to phased? If they are even slightly phased into the ground you can't spawn on them.
hmm, this is very wierd. I would make sure your initial spawn point is still there in forge.also check how many initial spawn points exist on the map.and how many people were in the game when you started it, if it was more than the initial spawns you placed then that could be your problem as wellllll
Ok, I must be stupid when communicating. I have spawn points, 12 exact. In the area with my spawn points, Hill, and weapons. I have a safe area boundary around it, so anyone who goes out of that dies. Now I have 12 spawn points inside the area, no where else! And, for some reason it spawns me elsewhere when before I put my spawn points I deleted the rest. now what's the problem? I spawn in other areas than the spawn points i put down. And I've deleted all initial points and respawn points, before putting down my own.
I'm pretty much stumped. The only other thing I can think of is something to do with game type labels, team restrictions, game type restrictions. Anything like that.
I think you need to define between your starting spawn points and respawn points and whether you spawn in other places at the start, or on respawn.
Make sure u have initial as well as regular spawn points and that under advanced u have them labeled "koth spawn." Also u need to be forging in koth instead of basic editing.
