I thought once you click in the right thumbstick the camera zooms in and you can fly up/down or move the object as you normally would but the movements of the objects are slowed down so you don't have to those subtle touches from the normal view. However just moves at normal speed but it's just zoomed in. Am I missing something like hold something then it actually slows the movements? Or is it supposed to be like that? Still a Halo 3 Forge feature that annoyed me. I need this question answered because I'm working on a map that I didn't set to coordinates so it won't work and 'connect' properly.
zooming in does nothing except give you a better view. thats clicking down your right stick. holding down the LEFT stick, however, make you move it slower. But i recommend using the coordinates instead for the entire map.
Use co-ordinates only if you are a perfectionist. Otherwise, the left stick and zoom mode will do just fine.
Toggle? I've done some more on my map and such but is there a way to toggle it? btw, I like the coordinates, I move something roughly where I want it then get the coordinates then adjust accordingly. Makes it easy to add onto and nudging it up/down/left/right is bless. I use that slowed down thing for exact locations of aesthetics.
same, I use coordinates for everything unless I can't get a forge piece to be exactly where I want. and when I have to do that, I just use the slow function! I LOVE forging in this game.
