Hello Forgehub, and welcome to Vertigo.

This is my first Halo Reach map, however the basic design has been on my mind ever since Sandbox was released for Halo 3. However, Sandbox didn't offer enough objects, and my heart wasn't in it. With Reach's astronomically-improved Forge mode I have whipped it up in less than a week.

Vertigo is a relatively small map that floats high in the air near the Island and Coliseum on Forgeworld. It is designed for two teams of between 2-4 players to duke it out - the classic Halo formula. It is two-tiered, vaguely reminiscent of Lockout, but in my opinion it flows better than that classic map.

Being the perfectionist that I am, everything on Vertigo is positioned meticulously, courtesy of the great new coordinate feature. The weapon set is purely experimental at this stage, but this is what is on the map so far:

    4 x DMRs
    1 x Sniper Rifle
    1 x Shotgun
    2 x Plasma Pistols
    2 x Needlers
    2 x Plasma Repeaters

(I must admit I forgot to put any grenades on the map, I will add some and update the link by tomorrow).

Vertigo currently supports only Slayer and Capture the Flag gametypes, but I'll be adding Hill, Oddball, Stockpile, Headhunter, Assault and Territories in due course.

I hope you enjoy the map and I look forward to any constructive criticism. Check back tomorrow for the version with grenades and more supported gametypes.

If anyone would like to help test it with me, send a FR to Lethal Force FX, because I never have enough friends online.

    Thanks!
