Yeah except for the fact that Valhalla has a totally different base sturcture and layout with different terrain throughout the map. Other than that though your right its the same?!?!?!? (Yeah for sarcasm) Anyway i my self plan on a combination map of Coagulation (Banshee hangers in the bottom) mixed with the towers of Valhalla and making some forerunner type structure in the middle to act as the hill where laser is in halo 3. How did we get so off topic isn't this about the Elephant in Reach??? Yeah id like a civilian style version like in ODST but make it like super armored just a big ass ramming machine haha.
Yer you would assume if there was no elephants in reach he would of replied "There are no elephants in reach" (bungie is carefull with there wording) So I'm expecting elephants to be in reach I don't see why not. I guess the reason for it not been forgeable because it was to complicated to fix the elephant for reach because the elephant worked a lot differently to normal vehicles besides been unforgeable.
The only semi accountable proof there is, is that they said the Elephant was "Non Forgeable" but other than that no, we don't know if it'l be in game. Although i don't see why not Boneyard and what is it Spire? the 2 Invasion maps seem kinda desolate so maybe an Elephant could be there or at least a destroyed one.
I don't even think the elephant will find use on Invasion maps. simply because of all the cover that is all over the place, the elephant wouldn't be able to navigate. I'll go out on a limb and rule out the elephant from Boneyard, just because from what I remember of it, there would be no space for it to be of use. There's no way to tell if it will appear on Spire, considering we haven't gotten very many pictures of it.
An elephant on an invasion map would be interesting if the goal (core or whatever) was on board. Or if there was an invasion where the spartans attacked, it would be sweet if the elephant could be a spawn point. It would be beneficial in the late game if there was a spawn that was closer to the objective, but to get it closer, someone would have to sacrifice time in the early game to get it there. It would be interesting.
Elephant Island is an ice-covered, mountainous island of the coast of Antarctica in the outer part when the South Shetland Islands in the Southern Ocean. Elephants have long had a fascination for people, not only for their impressive size, but also for their remarkable intelligence, as reflected in their communication habits, rituals of mourning and deep sense of family ties.
