Well... I'm off to GameStop to trade in a defective used headset... and to pick up a certain game. Later!
Is it just me, or does look sensitivity seem lower by default? Not a problem after you change it, really, but it threw me off after a few seconds. Still an amazing game so far.
Ya, I usually play on 3 but I moved Reach up to 5. Still haven't played multiplayer yet, so I might go back to default if that doesn't go well. In related news, I just jetpacked up to a banshee and skyjacked it. This game is officially awesomesauce.
Hemmorage is shite, on any gametype. Totally expected, people mistake nostalgia as a nice feeling. It's deceptive. That map offers nothing that could considered thrilling.
So, I beat the entire game on Heroic, but the weekly challenge says that I missed one... I'm pretty sure it's the second to last one, because I think I remember not getting notified at the end of that one. I guess I can do it again sometime this week, but it does make me a little angry. Anyone else have a similar problem?
Me to, I purposely didn't watch any of the forgeworld videos because I wanted to be in awe of it. They kept talking about how huge it was and how amazing it was and it got to my head. The way I put up with it is thinking of the awesome customs we will have on it. I get swat on it a lot and it's sub par but playable. Also, HOLOGRAMS ARE AWESOME, I have gotten probably 1/5th of my kills so far just using the hologram to my advantage. It's recharge is so fast that I can use it whenever it might be advantageous. My play style suits it perfectly. Never saw it coming.
Damn I played Spire 3 times in a row my first three games, which would be a bad thing, but that map is SO ****ING good
Is it just me, or is the sniper rifle easier to get kills with? After four games of team snipers, I racked up at least 80 kills, 70 percent being headshots.
it does seem easier to headshot with, around 70-75 % of my sniper kills are headshots. in halo 3 the average was about 45% headshots for me. in particular it seems much easier to headshot from behind.
The hitboxes are more compact and the reticle bloom increases after a shot, so i'd say it's harder to headshot by accident now, as you can't spray. However the reticle is smaller, and i think that makes a far greater difference in getting headshots now.
I also think so too, but I'm not quite sure why.... Seriously, I was getting more snipes than I usually do in halo 3.
Solo legendary is definetly a challenge. I'm only on the 4th mission and I'm already having trouble. Avoid hunters if possible. Take forever to kill.
hitscan is the reason. there is no bullet travel time like in halo 3, where ever your reticle the instant you pull the trigger is where the shot goes, instantaneously.
