Hey guys! I was just wondering if anyone new the new ranking system for Halo : Reach... I have been looking for it, but can't find it. Apperently no one knows, but if they do, plox?
Its very different to Halo 3. You don't get a rank of 1 to 50 for each ranked playlist. Instead you earn lots of credits and that increases you military style rank (Colonel, Sergeant etc) and then in the Arena you don't really have a rank, you have to play well in each game (not just win) and you get a score which will be something between 1000 and 1800 (or something like that, thats what it was like in the Beta I think). Then after enough games you are placed in a division. But you don't stay in that division. The rank and division you achieved goes on your record for that month, then its reset next month and you need to play more games. So its not like players get to the top and can stay their. Players get to the top and they have to keep playing to stay at the top.
I know that the final rank resembles somewhat of a perfection symbol and it must take a GAZILLION cR to get. If you are asking how it works, your rank increases for gaining credits which are earned by playing games in any mode. If that isn't enough, you can enter The Arena and fight to earn a number (try to get the number as small as possible) and you will be put into a division based on how good your number is (steel, bronze, silver, gold, onyx). At the end of the month, everything resets and you try again.
