Everyone has plans or has at least though about what they will make when they get reach. But how long do you think it will be before these maps get put up for downloads? Im not talking about the basic maps, but the kind that take planning or at least a really good though. Nothing just thrown together. I hope within the week, and Im going to try and get mine out there quickly.
I think the maps that are worth keeping, even after you hit the limit; are the ones that come out around October 3rd. Even though the process of building has been sliced dramatically, we still need to build and re-build our creations over and over again so they play correctly, which is now more important than ever. To answer you initial question again; about 3 weeks or more.
Shouldn't take too long for some great maps to start popping up in forge 2.0. Excited to see what people come up with.
Good maps will come immediately probably within 5 days. But after 2-3 weeks you will start to see the great maps which will be made by the veteran forgers. Within 2 months you will see forge world pushed to the limit and see things unlike you ever thought possible.
This. Throughout the years of Halo: Reach we will constantly be amazed at what people create and discover. Eventually we'll look back at what everyone created in the beginning and laugh at how bad they are compared to everything else.
You forgot the part where forgers discover a cool glitch that revolutionizes the entire concept, then it is built around and mastered about 3 months later.
2 to 3 weeks for good maps maybe a month for the better maps because they still have to be tested and crap. If i am going to make a map which won't happen for a while after release ill just take my time its not a race or anything
When I make maps, I'll either not put them on my file share at first, or I'll tack on the "(Beta)" title. This means it will probably be a few months before mine are available.
Technically theirs already maps made ready for download at the moment. Bungie.net : Halo Reach : File Search But take at least a month for good maps (unless spent a month already planing in sketch up)
Are those all bungie made maps or are the from hackers or something? you also forgot the 100 year mark where anyone who played Reach is dead, or too old to remeber it. Then it finnally stops getting the top ten game sales numbers each year and bungie is so rich that it buys the halo franchies back from microsoft(who made 12 horrible attempts at Halo) and starts making good halo games again. Thats the point that the Halo Reach maps will stop being made and Halo:2110 will be made, but it will have a modern theme to it and you will be able to create your own objects and share them and you will have 5000000 different options for each object you make, includeing whether it has a **** symbol or a burning flag from the country of your choice. Sorry for the spelling errors and for going off topic, like, superduperalot.
original maps id say about 2 weeks, but thats if they didnt do any campaign or multiplayer and just forged from the start. less for remakes, theres already a good lockout remake on b.net
