I don't know if this has been posted already, but I remember this being a giant problem in Halo 3. I would build this awesome map, and needed to merge a bunch of ****. I haven't saved in a while, and keep starting new rounds. After another New Round, it says "Game Over" and I cry. Will this still be in Reach? And another question - In custom games, the round limit used to be 10. Is it still 10? or can you make it infinite?
Rule 1 of everything: save your progress! Your system will always find ways to get rid of your stuff.
Saving after placing 4 or 5 ghost merged objects might seem annoying, but it really is the best idea. Also, since merging is a tool in Reach, you'll only need to start new rounds to do things like resetting movable objects.
I'm soooo happy ToT. I remember crying a little after the first time that happened to me. TG I won't have to start new rounds anymore.
Yeagh lol that actually happened to me twice in a row. I didnt know it was because of a round limit i just thought i accidently ended the game. so i basically made the same map 3 times lol. And yes in custom games it can still only be 10 rounds.
did you say you cry or was that sarcasm? and i totally agree with you [exept for the crying part] i made a bunch of merges but i found that ghost merging is easier and saves alot of time
same thing dude. i was making a racetrack, and i was ghost merging but regular interlocking some parts and than boom. i was like halfway done with the track, that entire part was tested until it was perfectly smooth, about 8 hours of work (yes, i realize that is a super long forging sesh to go without saving) and than boom. gone. i turned off my xbox and havent forged since.
yep thats how i felt. i was like "eff this game"............................. but yeagh i did twice in a row on the exact same map, I did it for about 4 hours each time so we spent about the same amount of time for nothing lol
