Ok, i've been stalking the halo reach forge chat for awhile and i saw something about loadout names and i wanna know if its true or not
I'm pretty sure I read somewhere that for loadouts you can choose a name from a big list of premade ones, but you cannot make your own name.

I think that is better, imagine what people would do if we could male our own. That's quite a modest list with some querky ones so it's all good.

You mean type your own name in? That wouldn't be a good idea because there are immature people on the internet who would change all the loadout names to other names for genitalia.
You can name custom Firefight loadouts. I believe it was confirmed during the Firefight portion of the Bungie panel. He pulled up a list in the gametype editor along the lines of LOADOUT 1 LOADOUT 2 LOADOUT 3 LOADOUT 4 and stated that you can edit starting weapons, AA, grenades and loadout names. Stalker, if it's limited to custom games then you'll probably already know if the author is the kind of person that would(n't) do that / It won't be that big of a problem. You won't see peoples genitalia in matchmaking, I promise.
i dont really understand how some of these would work (the ones i left in) so i have a lot of questions about this. Spoiler i.e. medic, ninja, the named ones, demon and angel. why is noble six available for a loadout? as for medic, can you heal people? animals/names, WTF? angel and demon, again, WTF? are these a list of names used or are they preset loadouts that you choose from?
They are just names you can use for your loadouts. Some are for mini-games, some are for creative people making their own gametypes, others are just for fun. Theres nothing more you really need to know.

Actually, no, it never said you could choose. At that point, he could scroll through names, not type one.
I'm just hoping that "you can name them" doesn't mean you press A on the loadout name to bring up a 70+something option list of presets.
