    NO I was planning on remaking this map as well. This is going to be one hell of a competition.

    This would be great in reach, I completely forgot about that game.
    And a game type called War Zone.. Hmm. That sounds familiar *wink wink*.

    It's inspired by, not a direct remake. How many times do I have to say that.

    I'm pretty sure a direct remake is impossible because of:
    1)Halo don't have X-Fighters
    2)Different architecture.
    3)Map/Spartan (Clone Trooper) Ratios are different.
    4)One game is Halo: Reach and the other one is Starwars Battlefront II lol.

    OMG this was the first thing I thought of making after seeing the forgeworld video. hopefully the gametype will let the spawning work right, That's the toughest part of figuring it out.

    I'm also thinking about what other maps could be made out of battlefront. maybe mustafar from battlefront 2

    EDIT: I think everyone can agree that this was one of the best maps in the entire game.

    ugh, now I want to change your classes to make them fit better.

    jetpack should have the propipe and a pistol.

    sprint needs the AR or DMR and pistol.

    drop shield needs shotgun and pistol.

    another sprint needs rockets and pistol. (the pistol was used A LOT)

    need another class: hologram, with sniper and pistol (target locator would be more correct, but it would be WAAAAAAAAY ovverpowering against the ships. the original game was better about that, what with having to actually GO there and all.)

    if the classes are right, it'll be mostly weapon preference and armor abilities that make the classes selected over others. I will always use the jet trooper.

    also, don't forget the roof over the center to make it so the fancy shmancy jetpack guys can get on top of the roof, or the sniper also. the outer ring was always the best sniper spot.

    and don't worry about the platform being the choke point. if I remember correctly, the bridges in between were the chokepoints of awesomeness.

    I thought about having class specific weapons...but I'm not sure how balanced it would be with 8 people running around with sniper rifles or rocket launchers.

    i was thinking it should be played at least 5v5 or 6v6...when i was playing invasion slayer, it reminded me a lot of battlefront's conquest mode...

    Bungie has not yet stated if the target locator will be in the matchmaking/customs for reach, as its only appeared in firefight and campaign. It probably would only be in forge world if anything and i doubt it will be a starting weapon.

    Just wanted to get that out there.

    Target Locator is not in Forge World or any other map. It's only in campaign and match making as far as I know.

    not matchmaking. firefight. target locator would cause a ton of lag in customs.

    aww, too bad there's no target locator placing =/

    I had a great Idea for an infection game too...oh well.

    anyways, I guess it would be a bit different, seeing as everyone would use either the sniper or rocket. *sigh*
