Where/how do you get glass in single player?

It took me about 3 hours give or take? It consisted of building at night, and collecting resources during the day, for some reason almost no hostile mobs go near the spire. I saw a spider once, and killed it, but other than that nothing.

I wanted more floors than I had room for, and had already completed the roof and spent far too long making the top of the spire extend, so I decided to do a two high roof, otherwise I like larger rooms, you can see that the bedroom has a much taller roof then the rest of the rooms because I liked the bigger space.

I gotta fix my river though, srsly, I thought it'd be cool to turn but the boat turns way too much and it's disorienting.

Lol I wish there were sponges so I could fix it... oh well

 

Just find the source block.

 

I would my base in 3 seconds.

Entrance to my lava mine. Lol, this was my first mine before I decided to just go straight down, so its basically meh.



My tree garden. I also have an indoor farm, breads!

 

:O playing single player alright, so I dig down deep enough into a huge opening with skeletons in it, die twice, come back and there's no skeletons, so now I take this time to build a staircase back up to the opening I fell through, this is really deep, then I look around a bit in this massive cave and come to this in the corner >,<

2x1 tunnel that goes on for a while. For some reason I'm almost scared of it, keep in mind I found it like that. I don't really want to go into it lol.

 

I believe it has to be within 4 squares of water

l Had to set up a server just for me to save my work lol I so badly want to play the alpha but don't wanna pay lol.

 

Why do the zombies just haul you down!

By the way, flint and steel fires may be shortlived but they're extremely bright.
Also you can set animals on fire and watch them burn.

LOL got the game yesterday, and damn it's addicting. I got caught at night after making a basic shelter (i was getting coal), I made a cliffside base and now it's my main base looks nice from a distance too.

We need to build something awesome on the fh server. Give some ideas.. pokemon has been built, the earth, etc.

Something spectacular. And with at least 20 people working on it, it should be done relativily quickly.

 

I would love to join. What is the Fh server anyways? Is it on Classic or alpha?

 

Naw. No requirements other than on grass. GRASS, not dirt. and must have a 5x5 area around it to grow.

Classic currently. I'm not making an Alpha until Alpha Multiplayer is stable.

 

This game is incredibly fun. How does anybody else make their bases. I prefer making a cliffside base in the side of a mountain. 75% of the time I'm just digging down mining anyway.

 

I try to find a good area in the side of a cliff or mountain. I can't just make something in the middle of nowhere. It just seems wrong to me.

 

Just made a badass base. It's basically a treehouse made entirely out of wood sitting on a tree.
