ah thanks alot =) I was being an idiot and using the original file of google sketchup, I didn't realise you need to open the reach stuff in its own document, thanks =D
Thanks To MickRaider! Your parts are awesome! (Sketchup parts I mean- not, like... anyway). I made a really bad Falcon stand in, and would like to share it At least I didn't model Cortana : )
Thank you! This has been so helpful! So far I've made like five maps with it, It's a great way put my ideas into actual plans, and work out the details. Thank you!
Thank you So Much! i Use Sketch up alot and thought about Making A Forge World Sketch up but as soon as i saw this i gave up. this is AWESOME!!!
Brill! This is brilliant, i use sketchup to layout my maps while im away from the xbox, i had to resize a couple of items, but other then that, the items are great! thank you!
Mick, any estimate on when we can expect a post-release update with finalized sizes and all missing objects?
First off this is awesome, so thank you! I was just wondering if you are planning on releasing an updated version now that Reach is out?
1. Copy+Paste desired item 2. Use the move tool to move into position, and use the little +'s to rotate 3. ?????? 4. Profit!
:O You are my hero. Until now I'd just been using 2m x 2m x 0 platforms. [br][/br]Edited by merge: You can use +/- to rotate? Until now I'd just been using the hotkey Q and scrambling around with that pathetic rotation tool.
Wow Kudos to you for doing all that modeling. As an aspiring level designer, who spends most of his time in Sketch-up, 3dsMax, Maya, Hammer, and Geck editors. I'm sure you are aware of how helpful to me you have been in planning my future forge endeavors. I'm very glad I decided to join this community and I hope to be as helpful to the community in time as you have been. First Post : p Slink
They should just make a FORGE for the computer! It would make my isolated jobs in the True White North that much better. We can't bring TVs with us, so I'm stuck with only a laptop. This is great for planning purposes, but you still have to take the time to design it in game when you get back to that old xbox!
