Oh God finally. This game has been the only PC game I've actually given the time to play, and it's well worth it. Now with all the buzz, the creations people are making are ridiculous. Someone should sooooo start up a Forgehub Multiplayer Alpha server. That would be kick-ass.
Death Yoyo, the game is incredible and there are many secrets that we can discuss here in. Camo, how do you make armor with hide and with any other armor making items? And in the OP you said "came," should be "game."
I haven't even touched the multiplayer. The Single Player Survival Mode is where it's at. This game is soo amazing. I'll post a video on someone first starting the mode and his commentary. This game is ballin. I started playing today, and I must say, I rarely have gotten up. (eh, its sunday, who cares) As of now, after almost 8 hours of straight play, yes, I found it that addicting, I have a super fortress inside a mountain with a tree garden at the top, very advanced, and an indoor garden for my foods stuff. I have ventured down maybe 20 of the 60 down blocks, but basically all the way up the 60 up blocks. Right now, the thing I need to start doing is making food, because it seems I'm always low. ****, I must have died 40 times trying to find some coal on that first few days and nights. Also, I spawned in the snow a couple a times, frozen water and everything
I've rarely touched multiplayer either but Survival multiplayer is something you have to check out especially with friends. Experiencing it together is totally win. And I totally recommend to anyone who has know idea about this game to watch the video Camofo linked. That guy also got me into minecraft.
When possible, maybe tomorrow, I'll put up a video of my fortress of epic. It spans... Maybe 200 squares and goes right to the bottom of the map by the Adminium. I'll keep trying to set a server up for us in Creative Multiplayer.
I just got this game, completely noob, check out my cave. Spoiler Give me some tips on what to do and make.
I vote survival too. It's glitchy now, but with all the buzz it's going to be fixed by Notch soon anyway.
Minecraft is basically an adventure game where you mine resources and craft things with them. You can mine tons of different resources like wood, dirt, ores, animal skins, etc. and build items such as walls, doors, weapons, tools, etc. During the day, things are pretty safe. But during the night or any dark place, enemies like zombies and skeletons can spawn and attack you. You have to build weapons and shelter to keep safe. There's also a multiplayer mode or two that I've yet to check out.
Well, start out by making sure you have at least fifty torches, always come in handy. Next, make sure your shelter is near resources, I built mine in a mountain, limitless stuff, cept trees. Then, focus on making food, the best way is to farm, because gathering pigs, although heals better, is more dangerous. Eventually, you will have gotten the hang of it, and you can start adventuring, whether it be deep underground, or adove.
I'm an extreme noob when it comes to this game, I can easily construct a fortress but I need some help constructing items. We need to pitch together to make a guide. I need to know how to make fire and what to do with wool.
Crafting - Minepedia - The Minecraft Wiki! Even noobs know how to google >.> So who plays this game way to much, you should host the server for us.
