Agreed, this game is dull as well lol.

    GTFO OF OUR THREAD!

Jk, that sucks dude, have you tried resetting your router? As I said, this first game is slow as hell so you've probably got a while to get it working.

Usually I don't like it when Sundance goes up to the booth since he tends to go on tangents unrelated to what's on screen, but with Reach so close I really, really want him to go on tangents.

Really? That's pretty much exactly why I like him being up there. I really like his bigger picture and context approach to talking about teams and players, but I can see how that's something that either does it for you or doesn't. Arguably that kinda of wider attitude to discussing stuff is better placed in stuff like the Bracket Show than in the booth, really disappointed that he wasn't in the Raleigh one.

The big picture stuff does nothing for me because all the teams they talk about don't exist anymore. They talk about the old Final Boss as if this is still the same team, but Ogre 2 and the name is the only constant. He goes on and on about a team's play style, but it has absolutely nothing to do with which team it is and everything to do with the players on it. It just annoys me that they talk about old FB being a setup very deep thinking team when that team had Walshy and both Ogres to do that.

I gotta disagree, the setup and slow play thing was what they didn't shake when Walshy left, it's what caused them to never pull up again in H3 and, and from what I understand it's actually the reason they booted Walshy in the first place. He realised that H3 had to be played differently and the OGREs/SS disagreed. It's been the mentality that's plagued them for the whole of H3 until this lineup, in terms of them finally doing well I think it couldn't be more relevant as context. It was just as true with the more recent lineups (inc. FiS, Victory, Mackeo etc.) as with FB at the start of '08. True it may not be the most profound thing ever said about them, but I think irrelevant is an unfair call.

    5-2 yo

Instinct pulls together for 2 minutes at a time, then falls completely apart for another 2. This is not how to win.

Agreed, though they're looking good on this Construct Hill game, it's very much suited to their epic style of team work. FB really need to just pull up, honestly I want them to just close out this series and win asap, tension is getting too much :p.

MLG Live Blog is not as interesting as MLG Live Stream, I heard some of the commentaries during the Onslaugh game, but thats it. Good to read that FinalPoke won, Ogre deserved it

Good Sunday. I was hoping for Instinct, but my rule that I prefer teams that don't make team changes is satisfied anyway.

MLG Seriously needs to retool TS going into Reach, or drop it entirely.

Every TS game-barring amplified-plays so slow now, and whoever gets the lead just trys to trade kills up.

Taks 15 minute unlimited kill idea sounds fine, but MLG needs to give teams a window to come back.

Either way, I am never watching a pro TS game again.
