I imagine that if there are any, then they will only be on one or two maps and you won't be able to do anything with them
There are absolutely no elephants in Forge World. This has been said many times by bungie in various Q&A type threads/blogs/posts/ect.
why only a sandy map. I know that they were on sandtrap, but they were in odst and I'm pretty sure that wasn't sandy
That wasn't an elephant, sorry, that was a garbage truck. It was called the Olifant, the civilian waste collection variant of the UNSC Elephant. It was a variant, not the elephant on Sandtrap.
I'm glad Elephants aren't in this game. I never saw anyone use them properly in Halo 3. The worst thing was when the flags in CTF were on them, and people thought it was a good idea to drive them close together.
this reason being, Elephants would be much better as a mobile base this time around, due to the awesome forging, and(depending where you place it) flat ground
no elephants. its been asked and answered several times. i bet there will be a sandy map with elephants on it eventually
Why you care about Elephants is a mystery to me, who's happy with the wide range of vehicles and items at my disposal. Now the real question is: Why won't they let me use Pelicans yet, they've been around forever so why can't a usable one exist somewhere within at least the single player campaign!?
indeed, I have wanted a pelican for the longest time. I had to resort to Gmod for flying pelicans around anywhere.
