    I started working on this map last night, I got extremely bored and decided to make a Construction Site surrounded by buildings. Please note that this is my first advanced map and with the tools that Reach provides I can complete the map with little effort. Now to the map, It started off a remake but then i edited a lot from the original map to be played in Reach.

    Gametypes: Every gametype except Infection, Race, and Invasion.

    #Players: 2-10

    I always liked maps with aesthetics outside the boundaries. It always seems to bring the map together well. Perhaps you could add an exposed elevator or a partly finished section of the building to add to the name. Also, would both teams spawn in the construction building or somewhere outside it? It seems if they both spawn in the building there is a chance of spawn killing.

    That's a great idea, I should add like a building being made with like half finished floors and that you can go in it and suck and for the elevator i should use the lift theory that benw had (http://www.forgehub.com/forum/halo-reach-forge-discussion/103771-one-way-lift.html) And if i put the building then the map might work for infection too, the humans just stay in the building while the zombies attack, and for the spawn i was thinking one spawn in the back and one in the front, or on in the front and one ontop. I dont know i will have to think on that.

    Okay so I am not the only one with the idea, and yours is a lot more complete then mine. Nice work on the crane.

    This is something I'm sure forgers are going to have to get use to, but all those ramps and levels are going to become irrelevant to players with Jetpacks. I'm not saying its a bad thing, but this looks like it'll play similar to Construct, with the higher level being the most important, and all the lower levers being used as spawning areas.

    You know you can disable Jetpacks if you want right? But im keeping it as a pickup but not start loadout, so you must find it to use a jetpack. And as im not done i will make the city more organized... a lot more organized.

    i hope you know you only get fifty walls of any type, some of those are going to have to be blocks. and i hope you know that all of the ground is either water or grass or rock or indoor. nothing citylike to build on.

    K, but is that a gametype setting, or a map setting? (I really don't know) If it is a gametype setting (which I though to be true), I don't think people will want to dl a specific set of gametypes to play a competitive map.

    no, you can place loadouts on your map. and if i have 1000 gametypes available, i dont mind.

    If you did not know, video games aren't always perfect. I don't care if i play on a grassy set city.

    alright, maybe the story is its run down or something. you should include holes in the wall or something.
    but back to my first statement, you only get 50 walls. like, giant walls + double walls + all other kinds of walls all need to be under 50 walls total. just in case you didnt know, im not sure what kinds of pieces those are but if they are walls than your screwed.

    One building will be all wall and the other building would be blocks symbolizing that the building is almost done.

    Wait a minute... I thought the complex objects were $150. I heard in another thread about the pricing for objects changing, but I didn't give it a second thought. Has the price for complex objects been upped by $50?

    I'm counting well over 200 walls just for your structure! That leaves you with -150 for your high rise aesthetics. It won't work as is.

    I do understand you said rought draft. Might I suggest using 5x5 4x4 3x3 and 2x2 thin blocks. They are only .5m thick I think. Walls are only .1 so the blocks are thicker, but still; you won't bust the bank and you will still be able to keep the structure height. It would make you're forging platforms a lot easier for when Reach comes out =D.

    lol. I see now. I thought he said 50 walls because their pricing was upped to $200 (200 x 50 = $10,000) (also I thought "walls" were under the same price category as "buildings"). Instead the physical item limit is actually 50. Guess I'm just thinking too hard again.

    OT: If you want to save some walls, I would suggest building on the side of one of the rock cliffs. It probably won't capture the same feel as your sketch-up, but a forger's dream rarely becomes a reality.

    Also for another aesthetic touch, might I suggest Falcons and/or Banshees suspended in mid-air above the construction site? I'm sure there's something in the pallet menu that keeps those vehicles in the air and isn't too noticeable.

    Awesome map, but I would put top of map some unfinished floors like there wouldn't be floor and pointless colums.

    I like the aesthetics; making that huge crane really brings some flavor to the map!

    Overall, this looks like one of those maps that seem really simple but will turn out to be fun and interesting. I mean at the very least, it's a big map, so I think objective games will be awesome here.
    The only thing that you should adjust is the amount of cover (like just some crates or boxes) in the larger rooms, and possibly add more ways to get up other than the stairs in the middle; like maybe add a fire escape kinda thing on the perimeter of the building, in case the stairs get too congested.

    Other than that, it looks like a cool map.

    I love how this map has like five levels that a feature you don't see in many maps. I also like your crane.

    Updated the map, I let out the Rails for the floors and i didnt put cover on it yet because there are more cover props to use in reach, this is what i have so far.
