    Hm, did not realise that.

Guess I'm in the minority of people who like it.

    Means absolutely nothing but okay.

Speaking of Alan Moore, I just read Superman/Batman: Absolute Power and it had a nod to Whatever Happened to the Man of Tomorrow, twas quite awesome.

Read "Whatever Happened to the Caped Crusader" by Neil Gaiman, it's so weird.

Yeah. Most of "RIP" through to "Battle for the Cowl" is bizarre.

Not a fan, at least not a fan of his work with Batman. It's all over the place and to truly know what's going on, I think you actually need to BE HIM.

Have you read Batman and Robin? It's pretty coherent and all the meta-story stuff isn't so blatant.

    thread is too serious.

new comic thread must be derived from this.

I read the first few issues but I sorta lost interest, that and struggled to keep up with the other 7+ Batman comics

All the stories seem so convoluted at this point, I don't want to try and slip in.

but still, marvel and dc are waaaaay too huge and things just happen you have never heard of and characters just come out the walls.

Yeah, it's difficult to slip in.
I'd recommend finding a character that you like and reading some of their better stories, from there you'll gain exposure to other characters. I started with Batman, Superman kept popping up, started reading Superman, Justice League onto Green Lantern, etc.
I'm more a DC guy, marvel's more crazy.

Yeah, pretty much what Sarge said.
