yes. two legendary copies, one for me, one for my little bro that has income but no credit card. i don't care if it makes me a pathetic nerd. i want my flame and my statue --- I wouldn't risk it. Halo fans are militant on launch days... you may have trouble.
I got Halo 3 with no problem with no preorder on launch day...but hey that's just me... I simply don't preorder, because I think it's pointless.
I honestly think it doesn't make a difference either way. I pre-ordered it, but I highly doubt it will get sold out as long as you pick up a copy within the first few days of the release. It really is your decision. Pre-ordering it ensures that you get a copy. If there are hundreds of thousands of fanboys in your city, there is a slim chance you won't get a copy immediately.
It may not sell out, but I pre-order things just to pay for them and get them out of the way. I know for a fact that its done and paid for, and that I'll just walk in and grab it. Plus, I love the fact that gamestop does pre-order bonuses. Plus, I have a second copy reserved at a local game store (i needed two copies for LAN parties) because they are known to call as soon as they get shipments and hand out their pre-orders, breaking street dates. I got the limited edition of Gears 2 off of them 2 days before it came out just because I heard by word of mouth that they had it coming in.
I pre-ordered Legendary months ago. What can I say, I love all the extra stuff for paying ahead of time. I agree completely with tsb, having it paid off and just going in and grabbing it makes it even more worth it. Not going to the midnight release though, ****ing college.
Costs 50$ to preorder the console, but its a down payment though. I like both the preorder bonuses, the helmet and grenade belt
I'm preordering from gamestop and I was wondering, will they deliver it to my house or will I have to go pick it up? cuz the nearest gamestop is at the mall like 45 minutes form my house.
You can also get it from Wal Mart, Best Buy, Blockbuster, Target, Amazon.com, Newegg.com (got mine for $50 from there, with release day delivery), or any number of other locations. No point going after Gamestop just for name recognition.
Well gamestop is also the only one who offers multi threat armor. I figure it's a nice bonus just for ordering with them.
Don't have Gamestop in Aus, pre-ordered it from EB Games, comes with Recon helmet. Me and a few friends are going to the midnight release.
The only reason to preorder a game in any instance is if locations near you are rare and everyone goes to the spot or if you're buying a special edition. If neither of these apply to you, YOU SHOULD NOT pre-order the game. Pre-ordering the game gets money out of your pocket and into the stores pocket. I have a ton of places near me and if I was going to go buy Reach, I'd go to best buy on release date, because they have 93278198 copies of the game. Absolutely no reason to part with your five dollars.
