    Map Overview:

    Silex is a symmetrical map. It is playable with Campture The Flag, King of the Hill, and Team Slayer. The map consists of three main elements. The Bases, the Bridge, and the Needler path.

    The Bases:

    Each base has two floors. The bottom floor has three entrances and the top has two. The top is accessible by using the man cannon located at the back of each base or using the catwalks at the rocket spawn.

    The Bridge:

    The bridge is a very useful sniper position. It also houses an overshield after 120 seconds. If you control the bridge, you can see most of the map and be able to get a good shot off at your enemies. Keep in mind, though, that they can see you too.

    The Needler Path:

    The needler path is a crucial point in the map. It houses the second way up to the bridge and gives quick access to your opponent's base. It also holds a weapon that is surprisingly powerful in this map, the needler. If you control the needler path, you have a well covered quick route from one base to the other, but watch out, the other team will be thinking the same thing...

    The only part of the map that isn't considered a key point is the rocket spawn/foot structure. In the top corner of the map, there is a structure that features ramps leading up to a raised platform that is the main entrance on to the bridge. Below this platform is the Rocket Spawn.

    The foot structure is below the bridge. It leads to the Sword Spawn path.

    Inside the foot structure is a hallway that leads to the Mauler spawn

    A Newer addition to the map is a second entrance to the top floor of the bases. The Catwalks.

    And last but certainly not least, the Center Structure which houses a power drain.

    It also houses an Energy Sword on it's second floor.

    Tactical Jumps:Well, Aaronator Thought it'd bee cool to add a couple Tactical Jumps into the map seeing as it's going into a third version, so here you are:

    Hey most of your pictures are way to small, you should fix that. Its a great map and I love the structure but the middle of the map seem a bit bare. I like how there is timed map events.

    just from the pictures though.

    look's pretty decent.
    It doesnt look like you actually had a plan when making it though.
    Kinda looks like you just made a cool structure somewhere, built off of it, and then tried to connect it all. lolzor "but that's every map ever" well the way i said it yes..... kinda it's just hard to explain lol.

    PS.your first moving image is to big for the screen. might want to fix that otherwise everyone that posts here is gonna mention it again.

    i love maps with great tac jumps, great job on those. I like the placement and design of the bases too its not just corner and opposite corner. It seems like the structures will negate any rough spawn kills so good job :]

    I manually resized the pictures to be the size they are. They are not too big nor too small. I'd also encourage you to play a game on the map before you judge how bare it is. I assure you it's not as open as it seems and it's also got generally good gameplay because of the open areas.

    Actually that isn't "every map ever" and this is not one of those "every map ever"s. This map was designed before it was created in forge. Also, I don't believe there is a problem with the animated images. Nobody else has brought it up and it's not a problem for me.
